This was a very nicely updated apartment in a small building conveniently located a block away from the beach, parking lot and lots of shopping. There was an ABC store, shaved ice shop, Italian restaurant and a tonkatsu restaurant below the building. The parking was very convenient and located a block away. There were a couple of issues we had....on the second night a roach climbed out from under the sofa and ran back under. It came out again on day 6 and we caught it. The second thing we noticed as that it looked like the the toilet from the unit upstairs was leaking and it left a corrosive mark about 8 inches in diameter on the ceiling and may have caused a mild odor coming from the toilet. Other than that we had a nice stay and appreciated the location of the building.

This place worked out fine for us as a place for 3 of us to stay during my daughter’s wedding. The parking place is convenient BUT trust me…you don’t want a car on Oahu. The whole island is gridlocked. Every excursion is painful. If you have any choice at all, choose another Hawaiian island. Any charm Oahu ever had is gone.Back to the apartment, checkin was more painful than it needed to be. The host messaged three or four times to tell us to make sure we called Vincent before we left the airport. When we ultimately called him, he simply texted instructions for self check-in that could have been messaged beforehand on vrbo.The beach supplies are nice as is having a washer and dryer. Beware though that this is like a European dryer which means you have to keep a water bin emptied and it takes three times as long to dry clothes as it does with a conventional dryer.

While the location was excellent, the property itself was not as clean as it should have been. The floors would turn your feet black if you went barefoot. The coffee maker had old grounds left in it and it leaked water. Only one of the bedrooms had a closet and neither had a mirror. The photos in the listing made the property appear larger and brighter than it was in reality. The only comfortable place to sit was the sofa. The dining chairs and bar stools were very uncomfortable. The bathroom was very nice. I would not recommend this property for three unrelated adults because the pull-out sofa had such a thin mattress, you could feel the frame through it.
