BEDROOMS / BATHROOMS
This four bedroom home has enough beds to sleep up to 8 people. The two bedrooms downstairs feature a king and queen mattress. Each has its own dresser and closet and is next to the downstairs bathroom.
I really dislike staying at rentals with cheap, rock hard mattresses. So I made sure to furnish this home with quality mattresses to provide a good nights sleep!
The two bedrooms upstairs are separated by a hallway and each feature their own “mini split” air conditioner/heating system. The upstairs bathroom (with bath tub) is located in the hallway between the bedrooms.
KITCHEN & DINING
The kitchen is nestled in between the dining room and living room with fireplace. Stocked with basic essentials such as pots, pans, toaster oven and Keurig. Appliances include fridge, dishwasher, stove/oven, microwave, and garbage disposal.
LIVING ROOM
Casa Johnson features two distinct living rooms. The front living room features a smart TV (pre loaded with Netflix, Amazon Prime, HBO Max, Hulu and Disney+) and a small “home office” area with a motorized desk should you want to stand, or sit in the cushy office chair.
The back living room is next to the kitchen and overlooks the pool area. It features a comfy couch and fireplace.
OUTDOOR SPACE
Our outdoor space provides a fun family atmosphere. The backyard features an 800 sq. ft swimming pool with a pergola, outdoor dining table and lounge chairs on one side. On the other side of the pool sits a dreammaker brand hot tub. All surrounded by an 8 foot tall privacy fence.
The backyard has plenty of adjustable lighting - no matter how bright (or dark) you’d like to keep the backyard during your stay.
Want to grill? We have you covered. Our backyard features a propane BBQ grill with a spare tank in the garage.
Guests have access to the entire home.
I live in the city so I'm available for any questions, additional info etc..
Quiet, residential neighborhood 10 minutes north of UF.
Use the pool at own risk. No lifeguard on duty.
No parties or events, no smoking or vaping inside the house.

John’s place was exactly what we were looking for, for our trip to Gainesville for the football game. John was great to communicate with, and everyone in our group commented how nice the place was. It was a great home base to get to downtown Gainesville and to campus for the game. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a very comfortable house for a group that wants a combination of privacy and group space. Perfect for us and our grown-up children and their spouses. There were a few tiny glitches, but the owner was very fast and pleasant about getting back to us. Outstanding communication! Comfy beds with lots of room in each bedroom for luggage. The kitchen was adequate for simple food prep and eating. We did not cook anything. The neighborhood is quiet and is close to a grocery store and a place to grab an espresso. I would stay again!

We had a wonderful stay and everything was great for a weekend of training at UF for work. Clean, comfortable, with plenty of space.

Roomy, airy, clean affordable home in quiet neighborhood with great pool!Kitchen is well equipped.Owner, John, is an excellent communicator.Dryer broke down just before we got there and John purchased a new washer and dryer and had it installed within 48 hours!I highly recommend this VRBO.
