About this house rental
This 3000 square foot home features large windows that offer serene views of the property. One of the original owners was a founding member of the Gainesville Garden Club and handpicked some of the flowers and citrus trees that inhabit the property. The large rooms offer excellent spaces to entertain large groups. There are hardly any steps for this house so those that have difficulty getting around will be at ease.

This is such a beautiful house and it has an amazing view! We really enjoyed our stay in this house. Alex was very attentive and quick to reply to my texts. He even dropped off delicious cookies for us. The kids and I really had a great time! I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice relaxing getaway.

Walking into this beautiful property is like stepping back in time to a once prestigious home. It could definitely use some upgrades and basic repairs. There were some minor wall damages and some plumbing issues while we where there. It is not a high end status however, there were lots of supplies for us and a ton of space. I love the history and nostalgia of the light switches and even the little call button that would have been used for the butler back in the day. The gardens are beautiful. Driveway had plenty of space. Manager was easy to deal with but more reserved. I'm used to a more personal experience but we were harrassed either, had our privacy. We would definitely come back to the property in the future while visiting family. My daughter loves plants so the back yard was fun to explore! Thank you for the opportunity to build memories and visit my brother and his family.
