Photos don't do the cottage justice. The Space was used exceptionally well with it being clean and comfortable. . Location was lovely and peaceful. Smart TV (not mentioned on website) which was brilliant and sofas had a very welcome and comfortable upgrade from those in the photos.

Could have done with a bit more cutlery

Remote location, tranquil. Local to friends in the area. Third visit, accommodation has everything you need, home comforts. Great for walking.

We enjoyed the whole experience

The space was fantastic. There were only two of us but a family of 4 would be very comfortable here. The Sofa's were very comfortable. It was nice to have tub chairs to sit in and look out into the garden area from. The dining area is excellent. The barn was lovely and warm throughout and we had constant hot water. It was good to have a proper bath and shower in the property. It had all the kitchen facilities as if you were at home. Very quiet and rural location which was just what we wanted. You get a very good dark sky here so it was easy to enjoy the stars.

The only letdown was that the cleaner did not clean some areas properly. The en-suite sink and shelf had muck on them. The en-suite toilet was not clean enough. There was sand and small stones on the floor in the lounge area. Some kitchen door handles needed a clean. The blinds in the main bedroom were broken and did not close. The TV remote was broken but did work. I put this information in a message to the owners via Booking.com messaging but did not get a reply (it may not have got through). However, as we did not have a response via Booking.com messaging my wife text them later on and they promptly responded with an apology and offering to send someone round to clean. The only other thing I would say is the TV is small and basic.
