About this house rental
This completely custom remodeled island 3 bedroom 2 bath 2200 sq ft. pet friendly home with a fantastic back yard.
It is just one block (we have a long block) to the beach (short 5 min walk or 2 minute bike/golf cart ride) and centrally located on Anna Maria Island in the city of Holmes Beach on a relaxing super friendly residential street!
While the inside of the home is pristine, gorgeous, and beautifully decorated, the real feature of this home is the outdoor backyard oasis! It is private and lushly landscaped surrounded by beautiful palms, birds of paradise, a large coconut palm and tropical plants. The yard also features a privacy fence and offers a covered tiki hut, fire-pit (for smores!), granite gas grill area, a heated saltwater pool and two outdoor showers. The pool gets tons of sunshine exposure during the day!
The inside of the home has a spacious bright open concept living, dining, and kitchen full of light that is perfect for open family interactions! The dining room table seats 8 and the kitchen island seats 2. There is also a cheerful breakfast nook area that seats 8 - great for evening game night!. The kitchen is tastefully decorated with gorgeous counter-tops, wood cabinets and stainless-steel appliances including oven/stove, dishwasher, microwave, and fridge (actually 2!). The cupboards are fully stocked to every chef's desire; perfect for making a meal at home and the refrigerator also has an ice maker in the freezer. The living room has a large screen TV, comfortable seating and the home is equipped with cable television, Wi-Fi, and hard line phone. (2nd Fridge/Freezer is downstairs for additional food storage needs)
On the ground level floor there is a 1 car garage with additional space for 2 cars in driveway and bonus room with stand up arcade game (PacMan, DigDug, Galaga) and ping-pong table in the game-room area. The game-room, has French doors, open up to the private patio and separate pool area.
The airy home comes with all the cotton linens and towels you will need for your stay including a ton of beach gear... chairs, umbrella, carts, beach towels, toys, etc.! This home is in a perfect location by being centrally located on the island and short walk to the beach!
We've done our best to make sure your home has everything. You will find first class cotton linens & bedding, down pillows, gourmet cooking equipment, beach toys, hairdryers, etc. We also provide paper goods (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues), trash bags, dish-washing liquid, laundry detergent, etc. Your kitchen also has an existing selection of spices, oils and condiments. There are numerous games at the house (Monopoly, Scattergories, playing cards, UNO, etc.). It's also helpful to know that the public library is less than a mile south of us with books, videos, periodicals and public computers. Finally, the garage has beach toys, buckets, shovels, mats, chairs, umbrellas and coolers.

If we could, we would give this beautiful home 20 stars! We've stayed at many VRBO homes throughout the years and this house had it all! Plenty of beach gear, a fully stocked kitchen (no need to bring spices, paper towels, TP or laundry detergent!) towels, and beach towels galore! A beautiful pool that was clean and private and the beach was only an 8 minute walk. (We wish we could have used the bikes, but due to insurance issues, we couldn't) The owner was easy to reach via text if we had any issues. Beautifully decorated and very clean. My husband "worked from home" and there was even a desk in the lower level that he appreciated. There is nothing NOT to like about Tropical Oasis! Kudos to the owners who go out of their way to make their guest's stay comfortable and convenient.

This was a lovely, updated and well kept property and it felt like a little piece of Heaven after a year long lock down! Mike (the owner) goes above and beyond to make your stay very special. He has such great attention to detail and provides so many nice amenities that no one else thinks of. The outdoor pool area was a peaceful and private oasis that you won't want to leave. We really appreciated Mike's willingness to let us heat the pool to 88 degrees as long as we paid the utilities. That was an added bonus. You will love it there if you are lucky enough to be able to get a reservation!

The home was recently updated and felt very spacious, clean, and modern. There was plenty of parking for 3 cars without blocking the sidewalk or street.
The house was well equipped with some of the best bath towels I have ever used, plenty of pool accessories, and all the kitchen appliances you need. I even purchased the same glassware when returning home because they were so nice.
We opted for the heated pool, and it was well worth the cost. The heater runs daily and it gets nice and warm. We were able to enjoy the outside and pool area all day, everyday. The walk to the beach is only 5 minutes down a quite street and there are showers to rinse off before entering the house. The neighbors are very nice and we made sure not to be a bother.
This is the best dog-friendly house we have stayed at in Anna Maria. Everyone enjoyed the little getaway, especially my 2 dogs.
