Bernadette and Stan were the perfect hosts which included accommodating our breakfast requests without hesitation. Room and bathroom were spacious and well appointed. The decor throughout the house is beautiful and authentic. Only a short distance from the main town.

Excellent place to stay. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. It is a short drive from town but it is easy to go for dinner. It also means it is very quiet at night. I would highly recommend staying here. It is probably the best place to stay in Oudtshoorn.

The history of the property and the host were awesome.
Could use screens on the windows but apparently nobody uses screens in South Africa

This is such a beautiful Edwardian Feather Palace - and the owners are so passionate about this house that has been in their family for generations. We had the most comfortable bed in all of our road trip! Loved all the lamps and stained glass. Great breakfast too.
