Gibts nichts zu meckern, ein Balkon wäre vielleicht noch ein Highlight, aber es war sonst alles zufriedenstellend

The room was fine overall, though it would have been nice to have had an en suite bathroom (the bathroom was for our use only, though). The location was really convenient. It took no time to get there on the bus from the airport - just an 8-minute journey from when you board to where you get off. The walk from the apartment through the city centre is really pretty, and the atmosphere was nice with everyone eating outdoors, street musicians playing, kids playing - just what you expect of a Mediterranean seaside town in the evening, really. There's a massive choice of places to eat. If you need supplies there's a large, well-stocked supermarket right across the road. You can walk along the waterfront from directly across the open plaza across the street and get some nice views of the offshore islands. Can recommend Goldcar for car rental at the airport. Inexpensive, decent cars, and good service.

If you have a car you may find it hard to park nearby. If you're walking to/from the bus stop (e.g. coming from the airport), you'll find the pavements are narrow and rough if you have to wheel a large suitcase along, and you'll probably have to walk in the road in some places. There's no lift within the building, and the stairs are quite steep, so the apartment might not be ideal for someone with mobility issues, or for older people. The street directly outside is pretty busy and there's a more major road crossing a large concrete flyover which blocks the seaward view from the apartment. Olbia is a working port so the docks area is not what I'd describe as picturesque, but by car (and maybe by bus?) it doesn't take long at all to get to smaller, prettier places and some of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen, so that doesn't matter much.
