Wij troffen het appartement erg schoon aan. Alles wat wij nodig hadden, was aanwezig. In de directe omgeving waren voldoende supermarkten en eetgelegenheden. Ook openbaar vervoer was vlakbij. Het appartement is ruim. Op elke etage was er maar één appartment. Hierdoor hadden wij geen geluidsoverlast van komen en gaan van buren.

Het openen van de deur met een cijferslot was bij de eerste keer wat problematisch maar toen we eenmaal door hadden hoe het het werkte was het probleem opgelost. De matrassen waren niet zo best. De douchecabine van de tweede badkamer had te weinig bewegingsruimte. In de grotere badkamer zou de ventilatie beter kunnen.

The apartment is situated on a quiet side street within a residential area. It offers easy access to the city center, which is approximately a 20-minute walk away. The unit features three bedrooms and two bathrooms. For convenience, entry to the apartment is managed via a keyless door code system.

The check-in process was not as smooth as expected. The owner repeatedly requested excessive personal data, claiming it was a requirement under Spanish law. However, asking for photocopies of an entire ID is not in line with EU data protection laws. Additionally, the owner provided incorrect bank account details for the rental payment, which resulted in a rejected and delayed money transfer and time waster. While the initial impression was acceptable, the apartment's cleanliness was poor. Neither the floors, bathrooms, nor the kitchen were spotless, requiring us to wash all the cutlery and plates before use. Several functional issues were also noted. The hot water capacity is minimal, sufficient for only one person's shower. A much-needed warm blanket was provided only upon request. Furthermore, despite the apartment being advertised as three-bedroom, we were only permitted to use one bedroom. Unfortunatelly, the double bed in the master bedroom was uncomfortable due to a worn-out mattress. Finally, although a security deposit was requested and paid, we felt the corresponding level of service was not provided by the owner.
