About this apartment rental
Unique creek front condo 10-15 miles from State College and Penn State. Very comfortable, spacious and peaceful condo. Full eat in kitchen . Awesome creek view. Cozy living room w/queen sleeper sofa, wood burner, dining area and a balcony. Big bedroom w/queen bed, couch, desk and full bathroom w/washer and dryer. Cabin style small bedroom w/futon that opens to a twin bed. Private entrance w/ attaced porch. 10-15 minutes spectacular Mountain View drive to State College. Tussey Mountain Ski and Recreation area is just 20 minutes’ drive away. Property is privileged to be conveniently located at about the same distance to State College, Philipsburg and Black Moshannon State Park. Bald Eagle Creek could be reached with the fishing pole right from the balcony. Stocked and Rainbow trout, Smallmouth bass, Rock bass are yours if you are lucky to catch one. You could simply enjoy spectacular view of the creek and surrounding beauty sitting on the porch. The Way fruit farm in Stormstown is just 4 miles away. Skytop Mountain Golf Club is 3 miles away. Port Matilda Community Park is a mile away, Lykens Market /Gas station and Brother’s Pizza are less than a mile away. Walmart, Target, Wegmans about 10 miles away. Place is great for a getaway, vacation ,special occasion.

We were in town for a wedding at the Rolling Hills Lodge
And Irena’s great little cottage is a 5 minute drive from the rural venue. If you have an event at this location I defiantly recommend Irena’s.
Irena was very attentive and her care taker Dan was amazing ! We arrived late at night and he had a very nice fire burning in the fire pit for us as we drove up. He also had firewood cut and stacked inside at the wood stove in the sitting room. ( which we really enjoyed.)
The cottage is on the hwy and easy to find.
It is nicely appointed and most all the windows look out over the river.
There are also 2 decks to sit at and enjoy the view of the river and woods beyond. If not for the morning traffic I would never have known it was on the hwy.
We would defiantly stay at Irena’s cottage again.
Thank you Irena and Dan for making our stay comfortable and relaxing.
