Year round modern cabin located in Black Moshannon State Forest and bordering Black Moshannon State park. Fully equipped home. Relax on porch overlooking patio and woods 35 minutes from State College. Well water is double filtered, UV treated and tested.

Loved this cabin. It was very clean. We were there during a wind storm and a tree fell down over the lane. We didn’t know until we came back around 10:30pm after our daughter’s basketball game in Boalsburg. We called and were able to park our vehicle for the night and walk a short distance to the cabin. The next day they had the tree removed from the lane. We had a very nice stay.

A very strange rental. No batteries in the tv remote. We had to go buy our own, and the tv only gets about five over air channels, no Network channels. Toilet rocked when you sat down, and No Cell or WiFi! Fortunately we were out and about most of the time, but very annoying. The place is nice and clean, but would have maybe chose a different location if we knew about the cell and WiFi issue. If you’re visiting with the goal of disconnecting and enjoying nature, this is a good choice. Just make sure to bring your own batteries! If you’ve had a few adult beverages, make sure to hold on when using the bathroom, that rocking potty may throw you!
