About this cabin rental
Nestled at the edge of a forest and named after our resident owl, Hooting Haus is a European styled cabin retreat close to all Penn State offers.
The gourmet kitchen's rustic charm features a zinc island, butcher block counter and stunning natural stone wall. Entertain guests at the artisan crafted pine table while dining next to the antique cast iron fireplace. Cap the evening sharing stories under the cool night sky gathered 'round the fire pit with a soothing hot toddy or mug of creamy cocoa.
NOTE-
We have beautiful woods at the back of the property, but if you're looking for a secluded getaway, this cabin may not be a good fit. We're close to the highway, which is very convenient to Beaver Stadium, campus and town - only 10 minutes and less than 8 miles away.
*2nd bedroom is located in the upstairs loft & library. Cozy, but not fully private.

This house is so great! The decor is amazing and the space is so comfy and cozy. The hot tub is the icing on the cake. Our host was so thoughtful with snacks in the fridge and muffins ready for us. This is close to wegmans and Trader Joe’s for easy meals.

My daughters and I stayed the evening at this incredibly cozy and beautifully appointed home, for a concert. Upon our arrival music was playing, place was spotless, the electric stove was softly flickering and we were instantly at home. The hot tub made for the perfect nightcap despite the below freezing temps. Core memories were made. We enjoyed this space so much that we plan to attend future concerts in Penn State with the hopes of staying here again. Our host Hilee was more than accommodating, available for questions with seamless check-in and check-out! 10/10 “Hilee” recommend!!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is so beautiful and cozy. The lighting and decor made it feel very elegant. It was very pet friendly. Communication with the owner was excellent. Would highly recommend!!

Such a cute house. Super clean and great layout. Exactly as pictures showed. Loved the Christmas tree up during the holiday and cute decorations. Great location (close to State College) and host was very responsive. Thank you for letting us stay!
