This luxurious property backs onto a lush forest, with beautiful forest views from both the porch, bedroom and living room, is designed for comfort, privacy, and a truly relaxing stay —while still enjoying a quiet, peaceful nature-filled setting – while still be close to everything. Guests have access to a gazebo and outdoor dining/lounge area to enjoy the natural surroundings. Please note the outdoor space is a shard space with Host’s family upstairs. We will need to know if you will be using the outdoor space (day and time).

This is our private home, and is not a standard investment property.
Over the past 7 years, we have invested over $300,000 into the entire Property creating a comfortable and welcoming space for ourselves and our guests. We take great pride in maintaining it to a very high standard. This is our retirement home.
This Property is best suited for respectful guests who value and are seeking a quiet, peaceful, comfortable, luxurious stay in a well-cared for environment.

Strictly Enforced:
• No parties or events
• No smoking, np vaping, no cannabis, no drugs
• No pets

Lower Level Suite (Rear Entrance – facing forest)
• 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom
• Living room, dining area, pantry, and porch
• Desk/chair/lamp in each bedroom
• Beautiful rainforest views from the porch, bedroom and living room
• Entry includes a few steps (2 on walkway, 1 at entrance)
• Shared backyard with home owner
• Sleeps up to 4 guests comfortably
• Ideal for 1 family, work, or small groups
Outdoor Space
Enjoy a peaceful backyard setting with:
• Forest views
• Gazebo
• Outdoor dining and lounge area
This is not a party suite, and the following rules apply strictly:
• Only registered guests are permitted on the property at all times
• Outdoor gatherings of only registered guests must remain low-key and respectful
• No loud music, shouting, or disruptive behavior
• Quiet hours must be observed
• No external visitors, vendors, or event-style setups without prior approval
Any gathering that begins to resemble a party or creates disturbance may result in immediate termination of the booking without refund.
This policy allows guests to enjoy meaningful time together while ensuring the home remains protected and respectful for neighbors, future guests and Home Owner.
Important Features and Limitations
• No AC. The lower suite remains naturally cooler and does not require AC.
• Laundry is available only for stays of 6 nights or longer.
• There is no BBQ provided due to past misuse and cleaning constraints.
• The greenhouse is off limits.
Children
• This home is not childproofed and is only suitable for children aged 8 AND older.
• There are no toys and games on the property.
• Home is NOT childproofed (no cabinet locks, etc.)
Occupancy
• Only registered guests are permitted on the Property unless pre-approved by Host.
• Max occupancy is 4 guests.
Check-In & Property Care
To ensure a smooth and respectful stay, we provide a mandatory in-person walkthrough at check-in (no self-check-in).
• Approx. 20 minutes
• Ensures proper use of the home and amenities.
Due to the property size and care required, the home and Property take 7 hours approximately to clean.
• Standard Check-in Time: 3:00 PM or any time later
• Standard checkout time: 11:00 AM
• Late checkout (up to 12:00 PM) may be arranged in coordination with cleaning, depending on unit usage.
We kindly ask all guests to treat the home with care and respect. This is our personal residence, and areas containing personal belongings will be securely locked (our bedroom and kitchen cabinets that contain our personal items).
Booking Requirements -- Answer the Questions
To ensure the right fit for our home, this listing is not on Instant Book. Guests must provide the following when requesting to book:
1. Purpose of your trip.
2. Guest details (ages, group relationship)
3. Number of vehicles (make/model, how many vehicles will be on the property during the day & overnight)
4. Email address (for agreement documentation) – once approved to book, we will email you the Innkeeper Agreement.
5. Confirmation that all guests will behave responsibly and respectfully.
6. Confirmation that there will be no smoking, vaping, cannabis/drugs or pets on the property.
7. Confirmation that you have read and agree to the listing details and house rules.
Policies & Agreements
• Guests will be required to read, print and sign the Innkeeper Agreement after booking (currently being finalized) and give to the Host at check-in.
• House rules must be followed at all times.
• Guests are responsible for any damage, missing items, or misuse
Parking
• Guests can only park on left side of driveway only. Right side is for Host/Host’s family.
• 2 mid-size cars will fit tandemly (back to back) OR ONE large vehicle such as a Ford 120 Truck.
What to Bring
• Indoor slippers with soft sole or socks
• Bath loofah
• For Outdoor Adventures -- Mosquito repellent, sunscreen & beach towels
