The style of the property and it's rooms, no contact for check in and check out. Handy and secure access through the main door. The beds are super comfortable

Centrally located, modern, comfortable and good value for money.

We stayed on room 005 and the WiFi signal was so weak that our phones kept switching back to our mobile network data. The light above the sink on the bathroom didn’t work and the blind covering the window needs replacing. The lack of parking is also not ideal as walking on my own at night from the Herbert Road car park is not ideal. No lift, so if you have any mobility restrictions, request a ground floor room - there are a few steps but manageable.

Great Place in Bray

This is a fantastic place to stay in Bray. The location is at the end of the main street, very central with lots of businesses nearby. The room itself was spacious, modern, very clean and very well equipped and nicely decorated. There was a TV - with channels, tea/coffee-making facilities, not just a fancy coffee maker, but a kettle to be found as well. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was good with a great and spacious shower. Check in and coming and going ran very smoothly (lock box and key card) and there was a clear sign saying to ring a number if any problems were encountered. Easy walking distance to train station and beach and there are bus stops literally outside the door. It's a pity there aren't more places like this in Bray!

It would have been nice to have something like a net curtain/venetian blind on the window. I was on the 2nd floor, so with the light on and the blind not pulled, people outside can see (I do usually ask for a room on a high floor with an open view). This is really the only negative thing I can think of. Ah, it's a pity you have to move the kettle to the bedside table to use it/plug it in - never understand this!

This was a good hotel for what it offered. We did not have any interaction with staff, but we didn't need to. The room was clean and comfortable. No complaints.

Fantastic Hotel

I loved the quirky, modern decor, the beds were the most comfortable I've slept on in a hotel. The bathroom was spacious & modern, the shower had a small and large shower head, very much appreciated. The carpet was sumptuous and I loved the fact that I could open the window for fresh air flow - in so many hotels the windows are sealed shut, meaning the air is stale and the room stuffy. The water tap in the hall, for filling your water bottle, is a thoughtful touch. Great location, very peaceful stay, a wonderful break all in all!!!

Tea, coffee, milk, sugar should be given to each room daily, regardless of whether you are in or out, you should never have to request it. It should be left outside the room for you, if you're resting. I requested teas, coffees, milks & sugars twice. Some were left outside the room for us on Tuesday but not on Wednesday, despite leaving a note on the door handle both days. These small things make the difference and are things you remember. Guests shouldn't have to beg.

Nice room, nice location near down town

The good: good facilities. Good bed and bathroom. Good location near downtown areas. Good parking nearby for very reasonable rates.

The okay: the room/facility was decorated nicely and generally comfortable but it was a little bit on the small side. Areas for improvement: communication. I asked questions thru the Bxx.com app and received rapid responses — but the day of checkin, my information about my codes to access my room were slow to arrive (I had to ask for them, and it was long after check-in time). I would expect a more professional email with detailed data including access codes, WiFi, parking options, check-in/out times, etc to be formalized and professionalized. Facilities that do not have staff to greet customers at the front door need a professional communication plan. The pillows were all king size. It might be nice to have a variety of sizes for those of us preferring thinner pillow. Overall, the room/stay was fine.
