About this apartment rental
Our apartment is located in the middle of the picturesque old town of Porto Maurizio, the so-called Parasio.
THE HIGHLIGHTS:
- central but quiet location in the most beautiful part of Porto Maurizio
- bright apartment on two levels with terrace and balcony
- everything is within walking distance: the beaches, restaurants & cafes and shops
- Free shuttle to the beach every hour
- wonderful views of old palazzi on one side and the entire valley and mountains on the other
THE LOCATION:
The Parasio with its narrow streets and old palazzi is a popular photo motif and is located at the highest point in the city. So it is very central, but you need a bit of fitness:
- To the east and south you come in about 200 steps, so in about 5-10 minutes. to the sea and to some restaurants or pizzerias
- To the west you can reach the central shopping street of Porto Maurizio with small shops and a market hall in about 5 minutes.
At the Parasio itself there are a handful of pizzerias / restaurants.
Another plus: the old town may only be used by residents. This means that there is a wonderful calm, especially in the evening. The disadvantage is that you also have to park the car a bit away (about 3 minutes on foot). To unload you can drive up to the house. There is also a free bus to the beach every hour, the stop is right outside the front door!
THE VIEWS:
Our apartment is on the third floor of an approximately 150 year old house with no elevator.
For the "climb" into the apartment you will be rewarded with great looks:
On one side you can see the highest square of Porto Maurizio, the Piazza Parasio and other palazzi in the old town.
On the other hand you look at the entire hinterland of Imperia, that means you see the city, the surrounding villages and hills as well as the foothills of the Maritime Alps
From the terraces you can see the city's cathedral and from one point you can see the sea and the coast.
Due to the free-standing location on three sides, the apartment is very bright and there is always a light breeze, so that it does not get too hot even under the roof in summer.
The apartment extends over two floors:
The central room on the lower floor is an approx. 35 sqm living room with dining area, sofa / TV corner and open kitchen with bar.
On the upper floor, which was partly designed as an open gallery, there is:
- another lounge with a sofa bed for another adult or child to sleep on (1.20 x 2.00)
- an attic room with a bed suitable for a child (0.90 x 1.80),
from here you come to the terrace with seating for up to four people

Eine schöne Ferienunterkunft, wir haben unsere Woche dort sehr genossen. So man will, ist zum selber kochen alles da, auch wenn es in der Umgebung genügend Restaurants gibt. Unterbringungsmöglichkeiten fürs Reisegepäck gibts genug. Die Lage oben auf dem Parassio-Hügel ist traumhaft.

Die Wohnung liegt oben in der malerischen Altstadt von Porto Maurizio (Imperia), ist sehr ruhig und bietet einen traumhaften Blick in die Berge. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Die Wohnung war wirklich perfekt für uns, die Lage inmitten der Altstadt ist wunderschön und die Aussicht auf die Berge von Balkon und Dachterrasse ist einmalig. Die Wohnung ist groß, hell und gemütlich eingerichtet und hat alles, was man braucht. Auch die Kommunikation mit Helga ist super. Insgesamt hatten wir eine wirklich tolle Woche.

Wir nutzen seit Jahren AirBnb und haben also einiges an Erfahrung, eine so schöne Wohnung und unkomplizierten Ablauf hatten wir selten bis nie!
Kurzum es ist alles perfekt, ein zwei Dinge um euch die letzten Bedenken zu nehmen. Ja es sind viele Stufen aber wir waren mit unserem 3-jährigen da und es ging ohne Probleme. Wenn ihr dann oben seid werdet ihr mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick belohnt.
Für diejenigen die denken „es fehlt eine Klimaanlage“, lasst euch gesagt sein, die braucht ihr nicht! Die Wohnung ist so hoch gelegen das wir selbst bei 32grad einen angenehm kühlen Durchzug in der Wohnung erzeugen konnten, wenn wir wollten.
Die Wohnung an sich ist super ausgestattet und hat alles was das Herz begehrt, die Umgebung bietet auch alles was ihr benötigt!
Ich könnte jetzt noch einen ganzen Aufsatz schreiben, aber bucht die Wohnung und seht selbst. Ihr werdet nicht enttäuscht sein.
