Nafpaktos. Situated on the north shore of the Corinthian gulf, it is one of Greece's most naturally beautiful locations. The landscape combines both mountainous terrains covered in rich vegetation on the north side, and to the south, a long coastal shore boasting numerous amazing shallow-water beaches with turquoise-blue waters. As if this was not enough, the area is surrounded and bound by ancient history. The city of Nafpaktos itself has a long history leading back to before the ancient Peloponnesian wars, and its castle-fortress is one of the best preserved in Greece. A plethora of historical sites surround this area at every step, almost towards any direction. Only a few kilometers to the east, up in the mountains lie the ruins of the ancient temple of Delphi. The oracle that presided there in ancient times was considered the most important in all of classical Greek history, and visiting is a ''must'' even in modern times...
The villa itself is located on the edge of a hill overlooking the twinkling clear waters of the Corinthian bay. The city of Nafpaktos and the castle-fortress is a 10 minute drive away. Less than 5 minutes by car will get you to the beach, or if you are feeling sluggish, you may dip in the swimming pool, while simultaneously admiring at the sea from above. The owner has made sure that the villa is as modern as it can get in terms of amenities, facilities and infrastructure, while combining his artistic insight and classical touch to create a uniquely comfortable and stylish summer home.
Indoors the villa has everything that you might want or need. The ground floor boasts a spacious living room joined by an open-plan fully equipped kitchen and dining area, eager to tackle any culinary idea that you may have. The villa is personally decorated and furnished by the owner with the best furniture, equipment, and art pieces; as the property is used by himself and was never intended to be an exclusively rental property. Exploring the upstairs you will find the three pristine bedrooms on the semi-floor and second floor accordingly, all of which have an astonishing panoramic view of the garden extending to the swimming pool, which seemingly pours into the crystal-blue sea below.
Outdoors, a private stone patio interlaced with green lawn stretches out in front of the villa leading to the edge swimming pool, all of which overlook the magnificent coastal landscape, and of course the glistening blue sea of the Corinthian bay. The amazing view tempts outdoor dining and lounging like few others…

This was one of my most favorite stays ever. It was a little remote, not walkable to anything but central to beaches and Greece's biggest lake. The home is a really nice size and the yard and pool are lovely. It's private except for the next door neighbors which might as well be completely private. The surrounding mountains make a lovely back drop. The couches, dining area, and balconies make it perfect for longer stays, spreading out, and feeling 100% comfortable at all times of day.

I hope to fit all the well deserved praise for the house and the wonderful people who gave us best holiday of our lives!First of all, our booking communication with Alex who manages the property was impeccable. He kindly and immediately answered all our little questions before we arrived. It was a relief to know that we will have what we need and he sorted out our booking with great professionalism. For me at least it's massively important to feel trust during the booking process, so thank you Alex for making sure that it was all flawless. Marios, the owner, followed up with excellent inside tips for the area, such a lovely person! And as my husband likes to say, the MVP was Christos who's hospitality is the stuff of dreams! He is the property caretaker and his own house is nearby. Not only he showed us around, he made sure we're comfortable but he also cooked a feast for us twice! He is truly the most caring and generous human ever, and I don't remember the last time we laughed so much. The house is a such a beauty. The rooms and beds are very comfortable, everything is extremely clean and accessible, and the kitchen is very well organized. And the pool, oh my heart! I felt like royalty sipping my morning coffee, looking at the spectacular view and enjoying a swim.We had booked another place for the second week of our holidays and we wish we never left this heavenly location. Many blessings to Marios, Alex and Christos. We will definitely visit again!

Manager was absent, relied on the neighbor. Did not provide for linen service or address questions on it. The house could have been cleaner, a lot of dust. Very confusing light switch situation. Horrible beds, very uncomfortable. The house itself was wonderful, great view and superb location. The owner should consider changing managers.
