Chalet in the Forest

An incredible chalet, hidden in the middle of a pine forest. We spent a few days with our family. The chalet is clean, warm and picturesque. The kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed evenings chatting by the fireplace and long walks in the nearby hiking trail. Stunning views! 🏔️Waking up to unlimited mountain views and bird songs is just priceless. The Vrachni village is tiny with no notable tavernas or cafes. The chalet is 20’ from Kalavryta town and 40’ from the ski centre. Such a serene place. Would highly recommend!

Υπάρχουν κάποια καταλύματα που λόγω θέσης, λόγω θέας, λόγω ομορφιάς, λογω ιδιαιτερότητας, εμείς οι ταξιδιώτες δεν θα ειχαμε ποτε την ευκαιρία να γνωρίσουμε, να διανυκτερεύσουμε, να ζησουμε, αν κάποιος ιδιοκτητης εστω και ευκαιριακά δεν μας εδινε την ευκαιρία να νοικιάσουμε, εστω για 1 μέρα. Σε τετοια καταλύματα δεν εχεις απαιτήσεις ουτε για πισίνες, ούτε για spa, ουτε για στρωματα coco mat, ουτε για περιττές πολυτέλειες. Δεν το χρειάζονται! Εχουν πολύ πιο σημαντικά και ανεκτίμητα πραγματα να σου προσφέρουν! Μοναδική εμπειρία στην αγκαλιά ενός πανέμορφου ορεινού χωριού και ενός ακόμα πιο όμορφου ελατοδάσους, με θεά που κόβει την ανάσα. Σε αυτην ακριβως την κατηγορία ανήκει αυτό το κατάλυμα.

Amazing scenic location, extremely friendly people

We chose this Cottage for a day while traveling in the Peloponnese. The house is located in the mountains surrounded by a forest, not far from the village of Vrahni, secluded enough to retire and spend time in peace close to nature, far from the hustle and bustle of the city. The house is cozy, it has a unique atmosphere of a forest house, a pleasant smell of wood and an excellent view from the window. I couldn't get enough of the view when I woke up in the morning! There is everything we need and even a full kitchen where we could easily prepare our own breakfast and dinner. At night there is complete silence, and an open sky, where you can see the stars and the milky way. Since I am engaged in physical education, we went hiking in the forest, there are different trapways along which we explored the wildlife, either up the mountain or down to the river, we came closer to ourselves and calmed down and also took beautiful photos. My girlfriend did yoga on the grass right in front of the house, and in the evening we could set the table and enjoy the sunset. The place is amazing! We replenished and were inspired. The only thing that is necessary is to have a car so that it would be easy to move around since Kalavryta is located at a distance of 7-10 km. Thanks to Giorgos for hospitality and pleasant attitude towards us. We will definitely come back and stay even more!
