The nearby Palazzo Tommasi at 750 m, Parterre at 1.8 km and Porta Montanina at 3 km are great places for sight seeing. Restaurants can be found in 200 m. General supplies is at 4 km. Cortona town center and Firenze town center are 10 kmand 130 km away respectively.
There is a wooden gazebo and garden furniture in the garden for outdoor dining and a fireplace in the living room for cozy evenings.Parking is free here.

dit is een weekje terugtrekken op het Italiaanse platteland,prachtig in de heuvels op een terrein van een italiaanse familie met een 'die mama' die ons een zelfgebakken taart gaf op de 1e dag. Bovendien kan je bij haar eten bestellen voor de volgende dag. En dat is heerlijk want de winkels liggen ver weg. Alles is hier fantastisch,een nadeel is dat je altijd 30-45 minuten moet draaien op de kleine weggetjes naar de bewoonde wereld.

Wij komen zojuist terug van een geweldige vakantie in deze woning. Waarom geweldig? > vakantie met vrienden en toch privacy: deze woning bestaat uit twee huizen; > eigen zwembad en voldoende haarden om te koken of te barbecuen; > nonna kookt desgewenst; lekker en tegen schappelijke prijzen; > authentieke, nette huizen, voorzien van drie badkamers met goede toiletten en douches met voldoende waterdruk; > ‘s avonds heel veel wild gezien, waaronder zwijnen; > heerlijk rustig in een prachtige omgeving! Let op: deze woning staat op ongeveer 25 min rijden van stadjes waar je kunt eten/ winkelen/ boodschappen doen. Een aanrader! Veel plezier!

Heel mooi gelegen verblijf met als heel mooi extra de kookkunsten van “di mama”. Twee minpunten. De matrassen zijn zeer slecht en de watertemperatuur van het zwembad is koud te noemen
