The location is fantastic, the town itself is lovely. So many wonderful bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance.
The apartment is charming and the garden such an asset, especially for our dog. It was exceptionally quiet considering we were in the centre of everything. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing a meal, which we did on a couple of occasions. We were told about free parking behind the castle just a few hundred metres away, this was great and just a short walk. Other then the Indian restaurant around the corner, all other restaurants were very welcoming to are dog.
There wasn't a fire alarm, which was a little concerning. We understand about the age of the property but the floor in the bedroom was rather loose/springy, a bit of a trip hazard. An air freshener in the tiny toilet would have been nice as there is no fan or ventilation in there, also 1 toilet roll for a 1 week stay is a bit mean. All cupboards in the kitchen are low which is a bit of an issue if you have bad backs and knees.

The location across from a large car park was excellent. The bed was very comfortable.
It is very dark even on a sunny day with the lights on. The shower room is off the kitchen and is very small and there is nowhere to put toiletries. The floorboards are very creaky which was disturbing in the night. The wardrobe being in the lounge is a bit strange.

Location right in the centre of town, yet wonderfully quiet.

Great garden and an excellent central location.
Parking can be expensive if the free parking unavailable but this is a minor issue.

The apartment was in a wonderful location, right in the heart of Dinan. It was beautifully renovated with high quality furnishings which were very much in keeping with the style of the accommodation, and the bedroom was amazing. The kitchen area was extremely well equipped and although we didn’t cook while we were there, it would have been very easy to self cater. Everything was spotlessly clean. The accommodation felt private and secure and it was great to be able to access the garden at the back, especially as it was hot while we were there. It was also very quiet, being set back off the street in a residential building. Our host was easy to contact, and the welcome gift of cider and biscuits was a very nice touch.
Overall the apartment was much more spacious than the photographs suggest. Given the nature of an old building, the shower room was very small (anybody more generously proportioned might have found it challenging!) but it was cleverly designed and the shower was very efficient, so not really a problem.
Parking was expensive, but couldn’t have been more convenient as the car park was literally across the road.
We would definitely return if we visit Dinan again.
Nothing.

Nothing, it was just about perfect

Olivier was a perfect host. He met us at the property on our arrival to assist with our luggage and settling in. We were given biscuits & cider which was a nice gesture.
The property was extremely well located with a beautiful garden to enjoy.
The equipment within the property was excellent and probably the best equiped self catering ever.
Parking was easy in the car park opposite (except market day)
There was nothing we didn't like

Location and the decor, that was inline with Dinan. Beautiful garden with a great view of the sun set.

We had a great stay at the apartment, it is a great base for exploring Dinan and around. The apartment was quirky, very well equipped and the cider and biscuits left for us was a very thoughtful touch. Olivier was lovely and very easy to communicate with. We were able to park nearby to the apartment and a parking card was provided for our stay. There were plenty of restaurants and bakeries nearby and we especially enjoyed the local market on Thursday morning in the carpark opposite the apartment :)
Nothing major, we had a great stay. The kitchen was very well equipped but we would have preferred a cafetierre to a coffee machine, to avoid buying coffee pods for a short stay, as they are not great for the environment!

Great location, nicely laid out inside and a lovely garden.
I suppose the location of the washing machine in the basement/cellar wasn’t ideal.

A delightful apartment in a special and historical location right at the heart of Dinan. Attention to detail with respects to the needs of guests was second to none. The facility and equipment were more than adequate for a typical holiday stay, in our case 4-nights. The garden was an added bonus, as was the ticket that allowed free parking in two nearby car parks. The apartment was difficult to fault, especially if you like historical properties.
Nothing is perfect: may not suite those with mobility problems because of car parks not being immediately adjacent to the apartment, although the facility is on the ground floor. WC and bathroom were separate but both were a 'tight' fit and difficult to manoeuvre in.
Dinan's car parks can sometimes be full or nearly full - just be aware!

WE LOVED OUR STAY! Beautiful, historic, cosy - but also with modern facilities. We couldn't have hoped for better! And super central (while at the same time being super quiet) with free access to parking.
Absolutely nothing

The garden, central location and the historical features were superb.
The fridge didn’t have an ice box so it was not possible to make ice.

The apartment is in the heart of the wonderful town of Dinan and is easy to stroll about the beautiful and historic environs.
There is a lovely cafe adjacent to the apartment and the staff there were helpful and friendly. We were aware that some guests may have found the neighbours to be noisy - we didn't. It was a very peaceful and calm stay in a super, well equipped apartment. We certainly hope to stay again if we can. The weather was a very pleasant 25 to 28 degrees and at this time of the year [September 2022] the area was not as busy as when we've visited Dinan before
Possibly a bigger bathroom/toilet, but given the parameters I understand how that would have been difficult to achieve

The apartment was very comfortable, in a perfect location to reach the whole of Dinan, and gave us everything we needed for our enjoyable stay. The quaint decor matched the whole theme of the medieval town. It was well equipped. Olivier, our host, was great fun, and we spent an enjoyable couple of hours with him one evening. Everything was really perfect except the garden could have been better tended.

Lovely & quirky
No dislikes really, if you were staying longer you might have wanted a washing machine, but other than that perfect.

The location and the garden are a real holiday bonus. The history of Dinan is reflected in the character of the apartment which gives you a real sense of being in a wonderful place. Everything is there to make your stay pleasant. There is a card provided for access to the parking across from the building at the place du Champs Clos. This is fine except on Wednesday evening as an interesting market takes over that space early on Thursday morning and parking is not allowed. There are signs and information to inform you. We came on a motorbike so we were not much affected. We could park for free and for Thursday we parked at the motorcycle bays opposite the Gendarmerie nearby.
It is an old building so the conversion does what is possible with the space. This means that the toilet and shower room are a compromise which you have to live with. It is the same with noises from the accommodation on the next floor and the stairs, a particularly mobile and heavy tread can be heard above, also a slamming door.

Typical old style French decor together with a small garden which was perfect. Everything you needed was there & Olivier the host was very helpful when we had a slight problem logging on to the free WiFi.
In short noisy neighbours. The apartment is on the ground floor of a building housing 3 or 4 other apartments on floors above. Unfortunately on our first night we had to endure a very noisy all night party above us for which Olivier apologised profusely. All other nights were relatively quiet & no problem. There is a bar next door to the apartment whose terrace is adjacent to the garden & although they do play some music we did not find it a problem - finishing around 10pm
