Blue Bayou is located five houses from the sparkling blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico! With a full kitchen, dining area and living room, island living has never been easier.
The master bedroom features a king bed and ensuite bathroom. The guest room includes two twin beds. Both bedrooms includes crisp linens with plush towels in the bathrooms from our professional linen service. Your guests will stay connected with complimentary WIFI and enjoy all of the comforts of home, including a washer and dryer.
The decked backyard hosts a patio dining set for four for guests to enjoy a meal from the grill. An outdoor shower is available to rinse the sand from yourself and your swimsuits.
Blue Bayou is a dog friendly home! If you have added a pet to your reservation under the number of pets, the fee of $150 per dog plus tax has been added to your reservation total. Please note, there is a 1 dog limit. Max weight - 25 lbs.
Blue Bayou is easy walking distance to the free island trolley, which travels the entire length of the 7 miles of the island. Hop on and off at your leisure and explore shopping, dining and the beaches. The perfect location for your next beach vacation!

Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property. The minimum requirement for this home is no less than seven nights. We had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean and comfortable. The shower in the Master Bedroom was great as well. We only had two “hiccups.” One was that our refrigerator took forever (over 24 hours) to cool to regular temperature. We did call about it and they did send someone out and everyone was friendly but we found it quite odd that the fridge takes so long to cool to what we would consider a normal temperature. We had to eat ice cream rather quickly.
Our second “hiccup” was that the beach umbrella and beach chairs were in really bad shape. We made them work, but we would have expected beach equipment that would be in better shape from such a reputable rental company. Especially since everything except the fridge and the beach equipment was so nice.
All that to say - we would definitely consider staying here again. Super clean, comfortable and great location and met all of our needs for the four of us.
