The apartment was gorgeous, very well situated, and comfortable. It had a lovely modern feel while still being historic and situated in a good position within Lyon near to the underground, lovely restaurants, the rivers, and historic squares.
The host was incredibly friendly and helpful making sure we had all the information we could need about the local area.
The building sadly lacked any air conditioning which was troublesome as we were there during a heatwave, but this is due to the protected nature of this part of Lyon and not due to the hosts negligence. She did provide two high quality fans to offset the soaring temperatures as much as possible.
There was no oven, this is my own fault for not checking not the hosts so I have not reduced my score at all because of it- just for quick reference on case any other travellers may need one.

Apartment was lovely, had all mod cons. Tea & coffee was provided. There was a good tip in guide about using funicular to get off a stop later & walk downhill. Good communication with owners.
Very steep staircase to get onto the mezzanine level, not ideal if you have mobility issues. The apartment could definitely benefit from AC.
