Great location. Spacious. comfortable. Clean. The kitchen is v well equipped fridge freezer, oven, hob cutlery, crockery etc.

Firstly let me say Mark was fantastic- helpful, friendly, available! Thank goodness for him! The stay however was marred by the beginning. I’d had comms via booking.com with ‘Hilary’ re checking in. I was asked to give a time of arrival, and then given two numbers to call when I got there. I gave a time, and arrived EXACTLY at that time! tried one number. no reply. other number no reply. first number again- reply! Exasperated woman who seemed unaware of the booking. Said there was no ‘flat 2’ (that is how it is described on booking.com) and said she’d have to make another call as ‘there’s a lot of double booking’! How stressful for us! An agonising 10 min wait ensued as 4 other people gathered outside the gate trying to call a number! Eventually we were called back and told that Mark would meet us to try to sort it out, but ‘good news’ there will be tea and coffee and biscuits! Also told they have no booking for my name, and thought the person was called ‘Laura’ (booking.com shows the accommodation name as ‘Laura’s townhouse apartments’ which again the lady on the phone seemed to have never heard of before!) Mark came out several minutes later! We told him the flat number- he had no clue! We had to show him pics of what we’d booked. He recognised it and finally showed us to our apartment. (also looked at pics on the other 4 peoples phones and they were shown to their, thankfully different, apartments!) Got in- very ready for a cuppa after hours of travel and then lots of waiting and worrying… 1 green teabag. 1 earl grey teabag. and a droplet of milk in the fridge in a teapot! We had travelled a long way. We have stressful and difficult lives (as we all do), spending 20 minutes outside a property on a freezing cold day in a fully booked bath with someone completely unaware of your arrival is not great! I don’t want to be unfair- the apartment is really nice. Mark was very helpful! But this start really stressed us out and was completely unnecessary!

The apartment is ideally placed for a city break to Bath and is cosy and lovely decorated giving it a homey feel. The views are amazing over the city and the area quiet with city centre just a short stroll away. Mark is an absolutely delightful host and very helpful.

The flat was in a quirky building close to the centre of Bath and was perfect for a couple wanting a base.if it was clean it would have been amazing.

The floor in the living room looked like it had not been cleaned in a long time. We found a pair of knickers under the bed.
