Mintie Cottage on Leura Mall

Mintie cottage is absolutely gorgeous. We are a family of 5 (3 teenagers), while we now live only a few hours drive from Leura, we are expats and still want to experience new places and find hidden gems. Leura and Mintie cottage are most definitely gems! The beautiful house is fantastically equipped to meet our needs as a large family. There is a living room at the front of the house, with two large sofas and a working fire place. The kitchen is spacious, with a breakfast bar and separate dining area/with large table. The attention to detail in the kitchen really impressed us. The cupboards are stocked with all the utensils and extras you would need. The three bedrooms are very comfortable with good storage. The utility has a washing machine/tumble drier, including clothes dryer with a toilet. The sun room at the rear is a lovely space for relaxing. The bathroom is well equipped, stand alone bath, electric shower- great water pressure and toiletries included. The garden is beautiful, with an abundance of plants, flowers and wildlife. There is a security light to the front of the property, which helps a lot, especially with it being dark early in the winter. It was very cold during our stay, minus temperatures during the day. The central heating in Mintie cottage was fantastic and kept the house at a lovely temperature. We have stayed in a fair few holiday rental properties and this was our absolute favourite. The house is immaculate! It is so well looked after and clearly cherished. Woolworths- supermarket is in Leura- which is a good size and well stocked. We will return to Mintie cottage again!

The bathroom floor was freezing but only because it was minus temperatures outside. Take flip flips/in door crocs and there'll be no problem

The location is excellent—just a few minutes from the town center. We loved everything about the house. It is spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly well thought out. The host has clearly put a lot of care into every detail, and it shows in everything provided throughout the home. The living room is warm and cozy, especially with the fireplace. All three bedrooms are comfortable and feature excellent beds. The dining area and kitchen are fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. A special mention goes to the hanging drying rack in the laundry room—it was such a clever and practical feature! Staying here for three nights was one of the most memorable holiday home experiences we’ve ever had. Even with the rainy weather in the Blue Mountains, we never once regretted spending time indoors because the house itself was such a wonderful place to relax. Thank you for creating and maintaining such an exceptional holiday home. We truly hope to return someday.

Spotlessly clean and tidy. Convenient to all Leura has to offer.. shops /walks /restaurants. Wonderfully appointed beautiful rooms with morning sun and comfortable. Fantastic central heating when required. Amazing claw foot bath 🛀 and hot water. Great facility’s for self catering. Cozy sunroom at back overlooking garden with day bed for reading and fantastic Spanish table setting for meals and art 🖼️ many thanks

Location good . We cooked our own breakfast .

We didn’t have any hot water for our showers on the last day . Absolutely cold . It came on about 9.30 and we were all dressed . We did have it on the first 3 days , but it wasn’t overly hot . When we first arrived it took us at least 3 quarters of an hour to get it . The black mechanism was jammed because of the cold weather , which we found out when we googled , that can happen .We We were wet and frozen when we finally got in .
