Our apartment was clean but looked like it needed a little more renovation. Area was also great!

Location was great. It was easy to reach all our points of interest. Our host was friendly and responded quickly, especially went the electricity went out in the whole apartment.

Walking into downstairs entrance it smelled old and it wasn't very clean. Our apartment was clean which we were happy about. Some areas could have used some paint, but that didn't make our stay bad.

Sold place for the price, but you have to be ready to navigate the stairs.

The entrance is off a dark alley at night and needs a motion-triggered light - an easy fix. The foyer was messy and should be cleaned out; - an easy fix. The apartment is up two flights of steps with no lift;/elevator - difficult for older people. The apartment is very, very spacious and comfortable, but needs updating; new paint on the walls -easy fix. It was very ainy when my wife and I stayed there, and we had to keep the bedroom window cleaned that night; a fan was needed; - again an easy fix. The owners are very, very warm and accommodating and helpful. The owners live off-site and brought the keys to us and helped carry our luggage upstairs. They also went out and bought coffee for us.

The lack of a lift as my wife and I are elderly, and my wife was recovering from a broken leg. Plus, the renter is dependent on street parking; although it worked out well for us as we found a parking spot in front of the building.

Hazardous to health, false advirtisements, unsuitable for families.

It was in close distance to restaurants, shops and the bastogne war museum.

On arrival, the gentleman who Greeted us informed us that we would have to pay an additional fee for our dog to stay, despite the fact that their advertisment on booking .com States that “pets are welcome, free of charge!” He quoted a random fee of €15 per night and walked off when i advised him that I would report him to booking .com for false advertisement! Inside the property, which the advertisement fails to mention, guests are expected to walk through an abandoned communal area, which is potant with foul cigarette and cannabis odour, and up 2 flights of stairs. Once inside the “apartment” the walls are stained, electrical wires are exposed, broken skirting boards causing a trip hazard, utterly filthy cutlery, cups and bowls. Fridge not turned on and stained with foul smelling dairy product. Stained living room rug, damaged coffee table. The matress in the smallers bedroom was stained with black mould spots. All of the Windows open fully, with no option for “half lock” for child safety. The entire apartment held a strong odour of cigarette smoke and cannabis, despite the advertisement suggesting that the property is ‘smoke free”. As a family travelling with children, this property is absolutely not suitable for families.

It wasn’t clean (e.g. floor was filthy) it’s very expensive for what it is. No soap and towels like cardboard.

It was a nice stay as we only needed a bed for the night. But you do get what you pay for.

Location is good. Right next to the main strip of Bastone and the church from Band of Brothers. Also had easy walking access to a couple of other memorials.

Entry to the apartment is kind of shady and the staircase up to the apartment has a moist smell as this area doesn't get any ventilation.

Great host, great place to stay, would definitely recommend.

Central location - nice, easy walk to the town centre but out of it enough to not have much traffic about. The bedroom was spacious - previous reviews mentioned too much light but there was a blind in the bedroom so not a problem. The bathroom was great, complete with towels and hairdryer. Kitchen was lovely, tea towels and washing up stuff included.

Comfortable Apartment in Bastogne

Location was good, a 10 minute walk to the city center where I met most of my friends who were staying in hotels near the main square. Apartment was quite, despite being on a busy street. Apartment met minimum requirements, especially since I spent very little time there other than sleeping. I was able to park my motorcycle in the alley in front of the door to the apartment, which provided peace-of-mind as to its security. There were several quick-food restaurants and bars in very close proximity to the apartment.

I arrived at the very beginning of the check-in period, yet still waited outside in the cold for over 30 minutes after calling the phone number, for someone to show up and provide me the key and show me the apartment - there had been no indication that responsible people would not be on site when I arrived or that I should call before arrival. . There were a few aesthetic elements in the apartment that, while not affecting comfort, degraded the experience a little: Missing molding in some areas, missing trim on stairs, blistering paint and possible mold in one corner of the bedroom near the ceiling, no shower curtain or door, missing handle on one window which precluded opening it, cobwebs, drafty bathroom. The one time I tried to operate the television, I was unable to turn on the device no matter what combination of buttons I pressed.

Walking distance to everything

We visited Bastogne this Memorial Day weekend, it was a last minute decision. Found this apartment the night before we visited, and it served us quite well. The apartment could possibly use a few touch-ups, but we were quite pleased overall. Though there was a tad of a language barrier, the staff seemed very friendly.

Volume on the TV didn’t work, but it was all foreign language so it didn’t really matter. May have to wait a few minutes on the property owners as they don’t seem to be co-located with the property. Would recommend reaching out to them when you are about an hour from arriving (they did message and asked that we gave 30 minutes notice prior to arrival).

Gunstige ligging, je bent vrij snel, lopend in het centrum

De nummering klopte niet. We hebben zeker een half uur gezocht en maar gevraagd voor we er achter kwamen waar we moesten zijn. Met dank aan een hulpvaardige buurtbewoonster. De schoonmaakster die we uiteindelijk aantroffen gaf de sleutels. Ze was vriendelijk. Bij binnenkomst ruikt de hal muf en vies. De schoonmaakster heeft ons verteld waar de slaapkamer was ed. De host hebben we niet gezien. Geen verdere info gehad. Wifi lukte niet, werkte niet. Geen plaats om een vakantie mee te starten. Het appartement bestaat uit een bij elkaar geraapt zooitje. Geen aanrader!

Handige locatie in het centrum.

Bij het binnenkomen viel de vochtige geur in de gang al op. Deze ruik je ook op de kamer. Keuken is heel basic en ook niet allemaal hygiënisch.

Bedbank was heel slecht. Geen gordijn voor de douch. Het kookgerei was zwaar ondermaats. Geen goede pannen. Geen glazen, geen messen om mee te snijden.
