Beautiful place, would recommend it if you want to rest in the ardennes.
The place is lovely and in a beautiful environment.
We lacked some furniture in the place itself. Kitchenware, glasses etc were lacking. I also felt like taking your own linnens and towels for one night was a bit clumsy.

Nice stay but turned out more expensive than expected.
The house is nice although it needs better thermo-isolation. There are lots of walking paths nearby.
According to the information on Booking, there is a 200 Eur deposit to be paid, which should be refundable. If you read the owners description in Dutch, the deposit will be refunded after deducting cleaning fee (65 Eur) and electricity costs (0.6 EUR/kWh and the house is heated electrically). In our case, electricity costs for 2 nights amounted to 94 Euro (!). Altogether, the costs of our 2-nights weekend exceeded 400 Euro. Take these extra costs into account before booking.

Mooie natuur - gevoel opgelicht te zijn.
De omgeving, zonder twijfel. Wibrin is zeer mooi, Houffalize is mooier. De vrouw die de sleutel kwam geven was vriendelijk.
De spinnen, de motten die uit de gordijnen vlogen, het bloed aan de donsdekens, de haardroger uit de jaren 70, de vermufte geur, de Senseo die niet werkte en nog het meest, de kou die we gehad hebben. Verwarmd met een elektrisch vuur - kosten voor elektriciteit voor 2 nachten (1 dag) veertig euro, bovenop de prijs van 420 euro. De eigenaar beweerde dat het 135 euro per dag was maar incheck om 16u en uitchecken om 10u. We zijn er nog geen 48 uren geweest voor 460 euro. Meneer noemt zich ondernemer maar qua verhuur van vastgoed faalt hij grandioos. Als je niet teveel om hygiëne geeft en je enkel een slaapplek zoekt is het ideaal voor 135 euro PER ETMAAL 😬 Dan zou ik nog terugkeren maar nooit meer voor die prijs 🙈

Un petit coin de paradis boisé !
Nous avons passé un séjour absolument parfait dans cette charmante petite maison en bois. L'atmosphère est incroyablement chaleureuse et cosy, exactement ce qu'il faut après une journée de balades dans les Ardennes. Tout est pensé pour le confort : la cuisine est bien équipée et la propreté est impeccable. On se sent vraiment coupé du monde tout en étant proche d'Achouffe, sa brasserie ainsi que de chouettes restaurants. Pour les amateurs de randonnées, nous vous recommandons le tour du barrage de Nisramont. Un vrai havre de paix, on reviendra sans hésiter ! Jean

Mooie omgeving en locatie
Voor de tijd van t jaar het was aan t vriezen en waren de elektrische kacheltjes net niet genoeg om het goed warm te krijgen. Dus in de toekomst iets grotere kacheltje voor de woonkamer.
