Naples is a wonderful city, and Mama Home made our stay comfortable and easy. Peter and Rita are caring, responsive hosts who gave us helpful local tips and and allowed an early check-in, which we appreciated. The apartment is in a quieter part of Napoli but very close to Mergellina train station and within a short walk of restaurants, grocery stores, and the waterfront. We stayed four nights in January. When a couple of rainy days hit, the washer‑dryer combo on the back patio was a lifesaver (it may take two dryer cycles to fully dry clothes, but it works). The apartment suited our needs perfectly — two bathrooms (one upstairs, one downstairs), additional portable heater and a well-equipped kitchen — making it a great place to return to after busy days of sightseeing. Tourist tax was collected in cash at check-in. Would happily return on a future visit.

The property is in great location - just next to the metro station. It is very clean and quiet. You don’t hear any street noise. The owners are fantastic, very helpful, always ready to guide you. I am looking forward to come back there when I’m in Napoli next time!

Close to the train station. Large appartment. Two bathrooms . Good value for what we paid. Comfortable and very quiet at night.

NO balcony/terrace! There was a narrow outdoor area which we presumed was the smoking area and very overlooked by high up surrounding residental apartments. Free breakfast was very poor. Some dry toast/bread & jams. Tea & coffee. There were a lot of items mentioned on Bookings that this apartment didn't have.....toaster, washing machine , dryer , mosquito net, slippers, mini bar. Very few drinking glasses. Only one very large wine glass!! No tea towel or kitchen towels or dish cloth for cleaning. No cleaning products apart from washing up liquid and dishwasher tabs.
