Incredible views, nice pool, some lovely old features like tiled floors. Beautiful local area for treks and exploring. Nice food. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfy beds.

To be honest I didn't expect the hotel to be as rustic as it was. I think the price suggested to me that it would be smarter. I rarely give less than favourable reviews, and I usually love rural and rustic places, but in this instance I think others might benefit from me explaining what we felt. I would suggest you look really closely at the photos, reviews, hotel website etc before booking. More closely than I did. Possibly a bit of poor translation on Booking.com in terms of how things are described? So we kind of loved it, and we really loved exploring the area. But we had a shock when we first arrived at the hotel. Worth knowing that you can't get a vehicle to the entrance - need to walk/get motorbike lift up the path. We booked as a family of 4 including 2 teens. Booked the 'family bungalow' and the 'junior suite'. The 'bungalow' (not a bungalow at all - no idea why described as such) was more expensive than the 'suite' but, in our opinion, probably only half as nice and nowhere near as spacious. Ended up swapping rooms. Also, the 'bungalow' is mostly wooden, with plenty of scope under doors etc. for plenty of big local bugs to come in. Just a warning in general about bugs - if that's not your thing!!

The property is lush and green and so so beautiful! I felt like I was truly nestled in the jungle with a fantastic view of the terraced rice fields right off the front balcony. The location was perfect for daily walks around the area - with absolutely incredible views. Small villages were just a 20 minute walk away. The staff went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and made the most of my stay in Pu Luong. They organized a special tour for me and talked with me about the options in the area. From the moment I stepped onto the property they were attentive and so helpful. The food and breakfast was also fantastic. If you're looking for a relaxing location nestled amongst beautiful jungle gardens, this is the place. You won't regret it, this is the one you're looking for.
