Summary:
Amazing base for exploring London if you like late nights and nightlife. This Soho location is absolutely ideal for exploring the other city that never sleeps. Greek Street is just south of Soho Square and is located in the heart of the capital's entertainment district. Many of the City's best bars and restaurants are on the doorstep. All apartments in this building are one bedroom with a reception room sofa bed for extra guests.
The Space:
Once inside the property, you are within a compact one bedroom apartment. The open plan reception room has a comfortable sofa bed, dining area and fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen features a washing machine so that you can do some laundry and travel light, a dishwasher because who wants to do the dishes by hand, toaster and kettle, fridge, stove/hob, oven and microwave. We know how important it is for people with special dietary requirements to prepare food for themselves rather than rely on the understanding and cooperation of restaurants and you may not want to eat out all the time, so we make sure you have the added choice of self catering. Of course, there are plenty of pots and pans, cutlery and crockery for you to use.
The bedroom area has a freshly made bed with hotel quality bed linen, wardrobes with hangers, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, TV and good quality towels for all guests. The modern shower room provides some toiletries on arrival. We also put together a welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk and some snacks for when you arrive.
Good quality wifi is available in all our properties to help you plan your day's sightseeing, catch up on some work, keep in touch with friends and family back home or simply to relax after a busy day in the capital.
All City Living London properties offer convenient bases to discover what London has to offer so that you can recharge at the end of the day and then do it all again.
The building is above the Pillars of Hercules pub on the north side of Greek Street. With freeview, wifi and all bills included, every convenience is catered for to allow you to go on and enjoy your stay.

Self check in means you can let yourself in with our detailed instructions anytime after 3pm although we recommend you arrive before 10pm if possible. Self check in means no guessing arrival times to meet your host of key handover or stressing about running late. Just turn up and let yourself in using our clear instructions.
Check out couldn't be easier; just vacate with your possessions by 10am and close the door behind you. Our housekeeping team will take care of the rest.
The Neighborhood:
Soho was once a fashionable district for the aristocracy and is now known for is vibrant popular nightlife, having undergone significant gentrification in the late 20th century where it was known for its sex trade. Still a hub for the LGBTQ+ community and a short distance from Chinatown and popular landmarks such as Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus, some of the best bars, restaurants and entertainment spots are to be found here.
Greek Street is known for its selection of restaurants and cafes, which include Barrafina, 100 Wardour Street, The Breakfast Club, The Hummingbird Bakery, Monmouth Coffee and L'Escargot. There are parks and open spaces in Golden Square and Soho Square and you have 40 venues in Theatreland on the doorstep and the Royal Opera House also within walking distance. If you want to buy a new guitar, there is no better place than the established shops of Denmark Street.
Getting Around:
Superb transport links nearby via access to Tottenham Court Road for Northern, Central and Elizabeth lines.
The London Stadium can be reached in 45 minutes via the Elizabeth line direct to Stratford station, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium can be reached in 40 minutes via the Elizabeth line and Overground to Silver Street and Wembley can be reached in 50 minutes by going one stop on the Elizabeth line and then the Jubilee line to Wembley Park. The nearest station is Tottenham Court Road for Elizabeth, Northern and Central Lines.

Fantastic flat and location. Reading previous reviews about the noisiness of bar below, we brought our white noise machine. That does the trick. I would highly recommend this place and would rebook when in London again. Centrally located with easy access to the tube. In the heart of theatre district, solving “what to do when n a rainy day”. Many free museums. One mile from Big Ben; one mile from Buckingham Palace.

We've stayed here a few times now and the location is just getting better each time - new places opening and lots to do in the area. I highly recommend it!

I find it difficult to review this property because there are both pros and cons and it can be hard to determine if the cons outweigh the pros or vice versa.
On the "pros" - the unit is well appointed (with the exception of fans), clean and the location is close to everything - much of it within walking distance.
On the "cons" list:
- the service was extremely disappointing on two counts. 1 - we couldn't get into the safe after locking it and had many things inside that we needed. We contacted multiple people Friday morning who assured us it would be handled that day but it wasn't. I needed to chase at least 10 times over the next few days and it was finally opened on Sunday. 2 - Also on Friday morning we said that the unit was extremely hot and that there we no fans in the unit. We were also assured that would be handled but we didn't get a fan (we actually had to go into another unit ourselves after being given the code) until Monday. 3 days without is unacceptable
- we knew there would be noise from the street but the noise is insane. People should be discouraged from using the living room as a sleeping area (or at least warned of this). Even with earphones it was too noisy to sleep
- we were assured that while it's a busy street it's very safe. With the large crowds right outside the door (we often had to move them out of the doorway - a couple of times they were throwing up right there) it didn't feel perfectly safe.
