I would stay there again!

Amazing stay

The house is very true to the pictures, and even then, I was impressed on arrival by how spacious and impeccably clean and well decorated it is, both the private room+bathroom & the common areas. While not dead in the city center, it's in a calm neighbourhood conveniently along the way of one of the central tram lines, and there are also bus connections. Marc was a welcoming host and attentive to even smaller details (e.g. tourism leaflets, readily available fan to deal with the summer heat...). Much recommended.

Very comfy and useful location.

We were warmly greeted by our host Marc looking after our every need. A spacious apartment with shared kitchen balcony and lounge diner is very stylish. Comfy sofas to relax in a quiet spot off the main road with tram access to the centre in 15 minutes. Well equipped kitchen.

Calm and Relaxed. Great Location.

Exceptional apartment. Modern, Spacious and Spotlessly clean. The room was large and comfortable with beautiful shower room en-suite. The shared living area (shared with other guests- not Marc) was relaxing, and kitchen space well equipped. The flat is in a quiet, safe, back street, a 3 minute walk to local shops and tram service to central Nantes. (Very regular 10-15 minute journey ) Marc is an attentive and friendly host. He gave us a street map of Nantes, and recommended places to visit. And was smart enough to leave us to our own devices once we were settled in. Nantes is a GREAT city. Plenty to see and do. Lots of Bars and Restaurants. High-end shopping as well as independent retailers and the usual chain-stores. Exceptional local transport -Trams, Buses and even ferries - you can go anywhere on the same ticket. Small enough to walk around if you prefer, or on safe cycle paths. You definitely don't need your car once there, so park up outside Marc's place and have a calm, relaxing break.

We only had 2 days. We will definitely have to come back to Nantes, and will definitely stay at Marc's Flat.

Perfect Stay

It was a perfect stay for our group. The common lounge area is so well maintained and well decorated. Marc is one of the nicest hosts we have ever come across and is very responsive. He also gave us a warm welcome and we had nothing to complain! The bathroom, kitchen was well equipped with all the necessary amenities. There is tram station very close by and takes you to the city centre in 15 mins. Definitely recommend this apartment!

we just need to be aware that car parking on the street can be tricky. Since one of our rooms was rooftop, it had low ceilings, however it is not a big deal.

The host Marc was amazing couldn’t do enough for us, lovely room and very convenient fir the tram

We only had 1 pillow each but Marc supplied a second as soon as requested. Towels small though plentiful.

Passable

Absolutely gorgeous flat decorated modern! Spacious bedroom and bathroom with a double bath as well as shower. Nice outdoor balcony. In a nice safe feeling area, close to tram stop so very convenient.

We felt we had hit the jackpot when we arrived at Marcs flat. You couldn't wish for a better room. During our time in Nantes there was gale force winds and rain which made the flat cold. Despite asking Marc on several occasions to turn up the heating he refused saying it was warm enough at 19.5. The room had a huge log burner too which seemed pointless! He even suggested we take a shower or perhaps we were cold because we were tired! We had to go to bed early just to get warm. How very disappointing that he doesn't listen to his guests and that he advertises it as 'cosy'

One the good places

Marc is a very hansome person. The rooms are spacy and well maintained. Big living room and terrace. Open fire. Coplete kitchen. Quiet location. Tram is 3 minutes to walk and in 10 minutes you are downtown. Boulangerie around the corner. Better than any middle class business hotel.

Wonderful

Marc's flat is simply wonderful! We had a great stay, the room was comfortable and spacious, the bathroom perfect! We could use the kitchen freely and Marc was on hand to help us with anything. We use the washing machine and dryer for a small fee. The flat is close to the tram and supermarket. It was worth booking this place!

Marc’s Flat: Yes, cozy, but randomly, NO, NOT calm…. unfortunately.

Everything about Marc’s Flat was excellent, except that there are 3 bedrooms that surround a common living, dining and kitchen area. We had the misfortune, which could repeat itself on any day, depending on the constellation of clients in house, that the other two bedrooms were occupied by a group of six young fairly alcoholized students that disregarded the house rules about respecting evening quiet hours and partied excessively loudly until early morning, ruining our ability to sleep that night, even after being engaged directly to be quieter. An otherwise nice place and owner, this very negative experience helped us decide never to return here.

Perfect Nantes getaway

Marc is the quintessential host and his place is a delight. Our favorite was the common living areas. Fully equipped kitchen, inviting living and dining rooms and a large cozy balcony - all well decorated and full of fun plants. Marc lives on the property so is available to help - with city info, making certain you have anything you need, and in our case, bike storage. We wish we’d booked for more than two nights. Location is stellar: tram stop to center half block, big grocery half block, boulangerie half block, many restaurants within 5 minute walk. Thanks for welcoming us Marc!

Nice spacious apartment, clean and tastefully decorated

Nice, very, very spacious room, very nicely decorated, comfy big bed and spacious bathroom. The host is very nice and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent and at the best price possible. Access to the kitchen, to a big living/dining room and to a spacious balcony. Quiet neighborhood. We had to work during the day, so I can confirm that the internet connection in the living room is excellent. Highly recommended.

Opening and closing the automatic windows in the room is a bit noisy, especially at night. The internet connection in the bedroom wasn't great.

Marc est d'une gentillesse extrême, il est très disponible et bienveillant. La chambre double est très agréable, lumineuse, d'une propreté irréprochable (même pas un cheveux trainé!) bravo !

Confortable, dans un quartier calme et à 15 min du centre ville.

L'accueil et la disponibilité du propriétaire sont très appréciables et on se sent très vite à l'aise dans cette maison aménagée avec goût. La localisation a proximité d'une ligne de tram est appréciable comme le calme du quartier.

La proximité de notre chambre avec le salon peut être source de gêne lorsque des personnes discutent un peu fort jusqu'à une heure avancée. Rien de très grave et cela ne nous empêchera pas de revenir.

Séjour vivifiant et apaisant, je recommande !

Séjour vivifiant et apaisant, un peu excentré de Nantes mais très facile d'accès, la maison est un véritable havre de paix. Marc est un hôtel très accessible, attentif et flexible. Je reviendrai sans hésiter à mon prochain passage à Nantes.

Il peut y avoir du bruit provenant des autres colocataires en dehors de la plage autorisée : en dehors donc de 8h00 à 22h00.

Perfekt für drei befreundete Parteien

Man hat sich sofort wohl gefühlt, die Wohnung ist sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet. Marc ist ein super Gastgeber, immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Das Highlight ist die grosse überdachte Balkonterasse, wunderbar zum relaxen, wenn sie nicht belegt ist, denn drei Parteien teilen sich die Aufenthaltsräume. Das eigentliche Zimmer ist abgetrennt und verschliessbar mit eigenem grossen Bad und getrennter Toilette. Wir hatten Glück mit dem Parken an der Strasse vor dem Haus, allerdings war es am Wochenende etwas voller. Der Weg zur Innenstadt ist einfach und kurz, wir sind es gelaufen, aber die Strassenbahn kommt sehr oft und ist sogar umsonst am Wochenende

Die Nachbarschaft kann sehr laut sein, wie wohl in jeder Nachbarschaft, wir sind in einen Kindergeburtstag geraten und einen Nachbarschaftsgrillabend. Aber wir konnten die Fenster nicht schliessen, es war sehr warm, es gibt keine Klimaanlage, es kann also im Zimmer sehr warm werden, aber es gibt Rolladen, die müssen gleich am Morgen geschlossen werden.

Un logement atypique très bien équipé avec de nombreuses chambres

Le logement est spacieux et très bien équipé. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié d'être les seuls occupants, ce qui nous a permis de profiter pleinement de chaque espace en toute tranquillité. Il a été facile de garer nos voitures gratuitement à proximité du logement.

L'heure de départ prévue à 11h était un peu trop matinale pour nous. Étant à Nantes pour un mariage, nous aurions grandement apprécié la possibilité de quitter les lieux à 12h, et ce sans frais supplémentaires.

L'endroit parfait pour se ressourcer lors d'un séjour à Nantes

Marc est très accueillant et son appartement est à son image ! Beaucoup d'espace et une décoration des plus agréables, on s'y sent très bien. La chambre que nous occupions avait beaucoup de rangements à sa disposition, et la salle de bain associée est très bien équipée, en plus d'être dans le thème de cette appartement Calm & Cosy. Nous recommandons chaudement !
