Spacious property, fully functional kitchen including a full size oven, the property was dated but clean. Pub right opposite served decent food at reasonable prices.
Strange location on a busy junction, the only thing nearby was the pub. probably more suited to people visiting family than random travelers. Pub stopped serving food at 4pm except at weekends.

The unit was very warm with comfortable beds and living room furniture, old but serviceable. Nice and clean throughout. The pub across the road and corner cafe are very useful for a good value evening meal and a hearty breakfast.
The decor in the unit could benefit from an update and the bathroom refurbished, especially the shower cubicle that is badly cracked along the floor. In the kitchen, the old sponge and J cloth should have been replaced. A welcome tray would be a nice touch especially if like us you had a 3 hour drive. Luckily, we took our own milk, tea bags etc because there are no shops local to the cottage.
