About this house rental

New Build Luxury Stone 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom detached house, construction completed May 2020.

Contained within a private, gated area in the centre of an Idyllic village. Within 5 minutes walk of a range of high quality restaurants, pubs, wine bars and picturesque countryside walks. There is no shortage of village attractions - historic castle, duck pond, village cricket, spa, church etc etc. The village has excellent eateries - 2 Indian restaurants, 1 Chinese Restaurant, 1 Italian Restaurant, 1 Fish and Chip Takeaway, 1 Pizza Takeaway, 5 Public Houses , 2 wine bars - all within 10 minutes walk.

The property contains a full sized, professional, oak snooker table.

The property's living area has an 82 inch smart television, with Sky, perfect for those sporting events or relaxing in front of a film in the evening. The AV system also contains a top of the range Sonos speaker system with the ability to play / stream music from any device. Full Wifi throughout.

The fully fitted kitchen contains a full array of built in luxury appliances: 2 ovens, microwave, coffee machine, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dryer, induction hobs, wine cooler, dishwasher, toaster, Quooker Instant hot water tap. Breakfast bar allows seating for four people opening out onto the decking area.

Kitchen includes crockery, utensils, and condiments as well complementary coffee bean coffee from the integrated machine.

The two spacious luxury bedrooms both contain 43 inch smart televisions and a range of Oak furniture. The master bedroom contains a King Sized bed and the second bedroom a Double bed.

Each bedroom has its own luxury en-suite / bathroom. The bathroom to the master bedroom has a full suite of stone fixtures, digitally controlled shower and digitally controlled freestanding contoured stone bath. The second bathroom has a stone suite and digitally controlled shower.

Outside there is private parking for three vehicles and a large private decking area with access to the main house via the double set of large bifolding doors. External furniture and BBQ is available for guests.

The house is within the grounds, but remaining private of, the owners property and can be on hand for advice, organising trips or if any problems should arise.

There is an exceptional Indian restaurant literally around the corner.The hosts are very friendly and communications were prompt and easy.We would have stayed longer if our schedule had permitted but we will be back again as soon as it does. In a word 'fantastic'. This property is securely located in the heart of a lovely, quaint and very friendly little village. The property (the Barn), is stunning and equipped with its fair share of technological enhancements for your enjoyment. If these don't impress you, you can always have a game of snooker in the extra large lounge area, or take a very short walk to one of the several pubs or restaurants available to you. Kathryn and Trevor were very friendly, helpful, and on hand if required. Communication was excellent, fast and efficient, with a welcome pack on site that extended to menus from the local restaurants as well as other local information. For comfort and enjoyment? Faultless! We loved it!

This property has to be one of, if not the best that we have rented in many years. Everything that you wanted was in this property, comfort and every modern convenience. We have never stayed or visited this area before and it is not short of local attractions and excellent places to eat and the weather was great! We will certainly try to get here again if the opportunity arises. Kathryn was the perfect host and helped us in many ways and in a timely fashion. If you enjoy excellence you will enjoy The Barn.

Fantastic Stay

We stayed at the Barn, Tickhill for a long weekend, primarily to visit our son who lives in the next village. We received a warm and friendly greeting from Kathryn & Trevor the owners who were helpful during our stay. The property did not disappoint, built to a very high specification, with a great deal of thought and attention to detail has gone into this home, modern yet comfy. The snooker table, very large TV and the games available gave us lots of fun and entertainment. The Barn s situated in the heart of this beautiful village with an abundance of eateries and shops right on the doorstep, yet the Barn is so quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Place
Wow, outstanding property with all of the mod cons in a beautiful village. Some great pubs and restaurants within walking distance, Scarborough Arms worth a try on Weds for their pizza van (get there early, they sell out quick) and the Royal Oak one minute away has great home cooked pub food and a lovely ambiance. Accommodation stunning with amazing open plan lounge/kitchen, had loads of fun playing snooker whilst watching the Euros on the 82" Smart TV. Beds super comfy and both en-suites are delightful, so much thought has gone into making this property a dream to stay in. Communication with the owners was superb and they are always on hand if you need anything but not intrusive. We cannot wait to come back to this truly superb property, thanks to Trevor & Kathryn for such a wonderful stay.
