About this cottage rental
The perfect place for a family looking for a quiet rural escape on a working farm.. Bring your walking boots and head off on the miles of footpaths that leave the farm to explore the surrounding countryside. Why not strike off in the direction of the Idle Valley Nature Reserve, just a couple of miles south, where a diverse range of wildlife call the 927-acre network of lakes, wetland and grassland home. For sporting fans, Doncaster Racecourse is 13 miles away and Bawtry Golf Club, rated as one of the best all-season golf courses in Yorkshire, is 8 miles away. Yorkshire Wildlife Park is conveniently just 11 miles away, situated just outside Doncaster, offering a unique view into the world of animals including lions, tigers, leopards, giraffes and baboons.
Step into the open-plan living room, with four-seater sofa and two tub chairs, a Smart TV and dining area, all overlooking the lovely green spaces around the farm buildings. The compact kitchen has all you need to create a hearty breakfast or a delicious evening meal after a day of exploring the local area. There are three bedrooms to choose from: a super king size with TV and en suite bathroom, a king size and a twin. A family shower room completes the accommodation.
Outside, the property has its own enclosed patio to the front with garden furniture to relax on a summer's evening, overlooking the open spaces and farm buildings. To the side of the property is a private patio area with hot tub (from 06/03/2026). On site shared areas include further outdoor seating with BBQ, a children’s climbing frame, a secure dog-play area and a games room situated in one of the farm’s barns, offering something for all the family with board games, a library, games consoles, table tennis, and a full-size snooker table.
