Lovely cosy apartment around the corner from a main road. 10 minute walk into the city or 7 minutes to Holborne Museum. Friendly local pub very near apartment. Beautiful food basket left for us and there was tea/coffee available and milk in the fridge. Very handy as we arrived late - thanks for that. Host provided great information on restaurants and bars and replied immediately to any questions we asked. Double bed was comfy if you like a soft mattress but we didn't use trundle beds so can't comment.
Weather was very hot and we couldn't open the windows so downstairs felt a little humid. One socket beside the bed was broken so I couldn't plug in the bedside light while phone was charging at night. Small issue and we didn't mention it at the time- we managed fine.

Funky decor
Downstairs bedroom was damp. Bathroom shower has only half a door, so it leaks water into the room.

Location was good, not far from town and the bus stop was close by. Layout, decoration, facilities & architecture of the flat was great, comfy and everything was working in order
Due to its historic nature, the building suffers from a persistent, unpleasant odor upon entry. While management has clearly made efforts to mitigate this, the scent remains uncomfortably noticeable, particularly when descending the stairs.
On a positive note, the facilities were excellent, with a wonderful supply of food and eggs.
