Nice stay with helpful owner

The room is a private room plus bath in a residential home. It is clean and everything works including the air conditioning. The day we were to arrive we were quite late because of a one day rail strike. When we notified her that we weee re e coming but late p, she offered make a reservation for a taxi to pick us up in Viterbo. The property is located close to the sites in the city center.

Hidden gem close to the lake

Just a few meters off my hiking trail. Could do laundry, host gave me soap and drying rack on cute terrace. Bed super comfortable and apartment beautiful decorated

Like home, warm and inviting

The owners are exceptionally kind. I was so tired and the wife helped me with my laundry, she checked on me, in the morning brought the most delicious homemade breakfast to my room, incredible. My room was so lovely and comfy with even a couch and table & chairs, glass doors to the garden. This is a private residence about a 10 minute walk from the village. Very peaceful and away from tourists. Highly recommend.

Comfortable, Clean room overlooking on a wonderful garden. Lovely Host

The B&B is owned by a wonderful, friendly lady named Gillette who lives on the property - you have a large, clean room (big comfortable bed, sofa, table & chairs, closet, bathroom) at the front of the house overlooking the attractive garden which has numerous options for sitting/relaxing amongst the display. It is located on one of the main roads leading to the lake, super convenient for getting either to the lakefront or up into the town square. There is a kettle, coffee machine with pods and fridge in the room. Gillette offers choice of hot breakfast (egg scramble with bacon, toasted cheese sandwich and her own creative fresh fruit juice blend-ups along with lovely big mugs of cappuccino) or a selection of her baked goods (sadly we forgot to try the baked goods selection). We were full until mid-afternoon each day!

4 beds crammed in to a space that was not big enough particularly with rucksacks etc. Break fast was lovely but had to move the beds in order to sit at the table. Quite a bit out of the town

A great value with amazing breakfast

Our hostess was very helpful and gave us a choice of savory or sweet breakfast. We all chose savory and were surprised when she brought in eggs with bacon, toast with ham (sandwich) coffee and fresh juice.

remarkable bolsena stay for a single or couple.

though the location initially seemed a bit far from the medieval town, it was a great spot for access to both the town and the lake. the hostess provided bicarbonate scrub and bucket for feet after a long walk, and a bottle of water and some delicious, fresh strawberries. she asked when i needed breakfast and if i’d rather have sweet or salty. either way, it was homemade.

Nice stay close to the lake and the old town of Bolsena

Looking for a stopover at the lake during our road trip we chose this nice room and were warmly welcomed by the kind host. The room has an own entrance from the garden which is very convenient, parking space inside the premises was also available and a very comfortable extra bed for our son found its place in the room too. The bathroom is small but designed with great care and nice little details (an antique sewing table converted to wash basin base). The little garden is inviting to sit for a coffee or breakfast, but due to the cool temperatures in October we did not spend much time there. Breakfast was served inside the room and was delicious, our preferences were asked during check-in. The old town is in walking distance and well worth a visit! We had nice dinner and visited the old castle the next morning before continuing our trip. The lake is great for a walk or run and not very far, there is a nice playground for kids down at the lake too. Highly recommended!

Great for a short stay of 1-2 nights, for a longer time it could get a bit narrow for 3 people, but quite fine for 2 if you don't need your own kitchen (a tea/coffee making corner is available).

Wunderschön und sehr erholsam

Die Besitzerin, Celeste, war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam, kochte ein sehr feines Frühstück und nähte/flickte mir meine Hosen. Das Zimmer ist gross und komfortabel eingerichtet. Ihr Vorgarten ist wunderschön. Ein Gefühl von zu Hause - herzlichen Dank Celeste
