Location is very convenient. Beds have curtains that gives privacy. Available and delicious breakfast, discount for the restaurant next door. Toilets are separate rooms, not just cabins, which gives privacy and serves as a shelter during attacks!

Mouldy shower rooms, likely to bad air circulation. You can smell mould in the air and it’s visible. Some rooms are better and some are worse.

Set in a beautiful historic building, this is a fully renovated and exceptionally clean hostel. The rooms were comfortable, with sturdy beds with lights and power sockets, and modern bathrooms that were well maintained. The staff were outstanding, especially Yulia and Anna, who went out of their way to help me with issues involving public bureaucracies there. The common area is also a shelter during the attack - the staff cared for the safety of the guests especially the visiting sport team girls, and welcomed neighbours seeking safety. Great gesture! This is a pricier place in today's Kyiv but the quality is also definitely higher.

My only issue is the large TV in the lobby (common room) made the space cold and feel less social. Or was it only for the World Cup during my stay? The layout can be less gaudy to create a more welcoming atmosphere.

Wonderful location with many landmarks and restaurants within foot range. The key-cards worked very well, and we were provided a second card on request. The discount on the hostel rooms were rather generous.

We stayed in a room that was different from the one booked. In the house rules it was stated that cleaning will only happen on request, but the room was cleaned anyway. Stairs to the second floor had acute edges that made the stair rather unconfortable to use. The reception was avarage.
