About this apartment rental
L'Àguila is a landmark of Modernism in Palma. It was built by the renowned architect Gaspar Bennàssar and, for the first time, opens its doors as tourist accommodation. Completely renovated inside while preserving its distinctive iron structure that creates undulating shapes on its façade—photographed by everyone who visits the island.
The route through the representative monuments of this cultural movement, of which Gaudí—who gives his name to one of our suites—was the greatest promoter, includes this building as a must-see stop. It is considered Historical Heritage of Palma. Since the summer of 2018, anyone visiting the island has had the opportunity to stay in it.
Its bright interior, high ceilings, and beautiful design make L'Àguila a unique place to stay in the heart of Palma’s old town, from where you can stroll through the city center streets, visit the Cathedral, go shopping, or enjoy an ensaimada.
The ÀGUILA SUITES PENTHOUSE apartment has been completely renovated, and all furniture and appliances are new. It is a duplex penthouse located on the fourth floor of the building, with direct and private access from the elevator.
The property is distributed as follows: on the lower floor, you will find two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom, as well as another full bathroom.
On the upper floor, there is a spacious living-dining area. Large windows offer stunning views of the city, the Serra, and Bellver Castle. In the same open space, there is a kitchen equipped with everything you need for your stay: Nespresso machine, oven-microwave, ceramic hob, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, etc.
The terrace, with views of Palma’s old town and the sea, is perfect for enjoying beautiful breakfasts under the Mediterranean sun while having the privilege of observing the upper ornamental part of the building—unique wrought iron elements that characterize L’Àguila.
In addition, the apartment includes a washing machine, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, bath towels, and Wi-Fi.
It is located in Plaza del Marqués de Palmer, right next to Plaza Mayor. This is one of the most commercial areas of the Mallorcan capital, with all kinds of shops, cafés, and restaurants nearby, as well as live music, street performers, and a lively atmosphere during the day that turns शांत and peaceful at night.
Plaza España is just a few minutes away, where you can catch buses or trains to any part of the island, including the famous Sóller Railway.
The popular Mercat de l'Olivar is a 5-minute walk away, where you can buy all kinds of top-quality products. You will enjoy all services in the area: supermarkets 2 minutes away, bars and restaurants, pharmacies, opticians, etc. In less than 5 minutes, you can visit Plaza de Cort (Town Hall) or reach the Cathedral, among many other activities Palma de Mallorca has to offer.

We loved our recent stay at the Penthouse L'Aguila in Palma! Our expectations were high based on the photos and the amenities listed and we were not disappointed. The location made for an easy walk to all the sites in Old Town Palma we had planned to visit and we were able to park our car within a few minutes walk from the apartment for easy day trips outside of Palma.One minor suggestion for the hosts would be to provide the directions for using the washer/dryer. All other pertinent directions for the apartment were provided but these were not, and it was not intuitive how to correctly use the machine.

Right in the center of everything, this beautiful apartment had everything we needed - including an incredible outdoor patio to enjoy meals and a view! Clean, great support, safe, it had it all!

We could not have asked for a better host and a better 2 bedroom and 2 bath to stay. The mattresses were very comfortable and the flat had everything you need. We especially enjoyed the views from almost every room. We sat on the terrace overlooking the city view with a glass of wine. The bakery in the next building was great for breakfast and sandwiches. A Nespresso machine in the kitchen was also provided with plenty of coffee. Gaston was there to help us check in, park and carry our luggage to the elevator. We will definitely return soon and rent this flat again. We rented a second flat for my sister and brother-in-law from Germany. They too had a nice flat, deck, elevator, location with only a 10 minute walk to our flat. Thank you, Carlos and Gaston for a fabulous stay in Mallorca.
