I have stayed at Hotel de Asis the past five years. Small boutique hotel with small bungalows and pool. Clean & comfortable and very good housekeeping.
One receptionist during the evening hours was not very friendly or hospitable.

Location and staff were great
Cooking area needs to improve. Lights flashing on stove made us uncomfortable in know if it was hot. Need a shelf for a coffee pot and microwave with electricity to it. The faucet needs to be the right size to pour into the sink not off the sink.

The pool area is nice, lots of shade and nice trees/flowers/vegetation. The king bed is very comfortable and staff are all great and very helpful. The location is central, close to the beach and grocery stores/lots of restaurants.
The kitchenette is very tiny and the sink faucet extends past the basin so it's difficult to cook and wash dishes.

Location and pool area
There were little bugs in all the beds, we complained to the owner and they told us that they were little mosquitoes that didn’t bite and they couldn’t do anything to stop them from getting in the room. Not what I wanted to hear during my vacation. Thumbs down
