This cozy cove cottage provides you with everything you need to feel right at home during your Gualala getaway. A large deck and a fenced yard give you and your guests plenty of space to spread out and take in the stunning views of the ocean and the rocky cliffs of the California Coast. Best of all, this home also includes a private outdoor hot tub where you can soak your worries away. Please be aware the fireplace in the photos is not an available amenity at this time. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Being right on the water, you will no doubt want to spend your vacation lying on the beach, soaking up the sun. Glennen Gulch is just over a half-mile from your front door and offers sandy shores from which you can launch your Pacific adventures. Necessities such as grocery stores, banks, gas stations, as well as shops and restaurants are less than three miles away in downtown Gualala. About two miles south of town you will find other attractions such as the Bluff Trailhead in Gualala Point Regional Park for a beautiful oceanfront hike, or Sea Ranch Golf Links for those looking to spend some time out on the greens.

It was a pleasant treat to spend time so close to the ocean at a decent price. The place is cozy and very comfortable for a long weekend away. Very pleased and very grateful for the chance to enjoy this property. Thank You to the owners for allowing others to enjoy this piece of peace with nature.

Hello future Cove House enjoyers - my recent stay was so satisfying. The striking ocean view and the sound of the waves and the large sunny deck with a large clean hot tub makes it the perfect get away. Two out of two thumbs up.

Pop in the entry code and open the door to a wall of newly cleaned windows that display a view that never fails to take my breath away. That view can't be beat - which is why we keep returning to Cove House. Since the afternoons were toasty, we opened the doors to let in the sound and smell of the ocean. Perfect.

Unfortunately Vacasa confirmed a change in my reservation in writing and then didn't honor their confirmation and it wound up costing an extra 1000! Beware when dealing with them.

This little place was perfect for us. The furnishings were clean and comfortable, hot tub with view of water was super! …..And it was already heated when we arrived. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment for cooking and all necessary utensils. A nice little yard and deck. Close to highway, but no highway noise! The only irritation/confusion was the VRBO & Vacasa relationship. Why two businesses we had to respind to. That is not very personalised

The house was very nice. The view was amazing. Kitchen had everything needed to cook for two.Minor noise from California 1, but not much.Hot tub was wonderful.Be aware, though, that the house DOES NOT have a working wood stove, despite the title and listing information for the property. This was something of a disappointment for us.

The Cove House is perfect! One morning, I spent an hour and a half watching two little whales directly in front of me, in the little cove. They kept looking up at me! This home is peaceful and has everything you could possibly want or need. I was struck by how many people wrote in their guest book about having "epiphanies" and "taking stock in their life" and "a new perspective on my life". I had experienced the exact three statements well before I read the guest book. TRULY A MAGICAL PLACE. Thank you to the owners!

This was our second time staying here. We love coming up in the off season as there’s less people in the area. It’s usually rainy but we got lucky this trip.

The view was amazing, the house was very cozy and well stocked. It could use a few updates - the electrical outlets are loose and things did not stay plugged in well, the blinds have seen better days, and the baseboard heaters are not up to the task of heating. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and dishes, the living room is very comfortable, the windows make everything feel very open. The hot tub was amazing. The house is located very conveniently to Gualala and Point Arena. The Surf market is nearby and had a great selection - especially for such a small market - and was reasonably priced. I would absolutely stay there again.

We spent 4 nights at this house and it was pretty stellar. The view is amazing and the hot tub was great. I would give this home 5 stars except for the following minor issues. We like to cook and we planned on making all of our meals here. The problem is that the stove top has some issues. The burners would get to temperature but then fade out and then get hot again. It made cooking very challenging. The second issue is that there was a mouse in the rafters. It only occurred one night but we could here it making noise and squeaking. I know that the location is near the woods so I wasn't too concerned but it terrified my partner. The third issue is that that the check in time is 4pm and the check out time is 10am. This cut down on the amount of time that we could enjoy the home. 10 am is very early to depart after 4 nights of relaxation. 11 am would be better. Noon would be optimal.

Everything was just perfect for our stay. The house was clean, the bed was comfy, shower had great pressure, hot tub was hot and clean, and the view was simply amazing. I wish we could have stayed longer! The only thing that would have made it better would be a couple more pillows, since we did use the pull-out bed for our kids.

This was a good little house. The views were even better than in the listing. Overall everything was good. A little bit of a cleaning issue, however they addressed it to our satisfaction so not going to ding them on my overall rating. Hot tubs was a huge plus.

Cute little cottage house, great views and worked perfect for the 2 of us. Very relaxing place to spend some time, no service which is great and Wi-Fi as needed. The house itself could use some quality TLC. The bed is bit firm and the blinds are broken in the room, the knives are dangerously dull and the faucet is duct taped together. You pay over $150 cleaning fee but the shower and hot tub (inside cover) is full of mold. A few updates could go a long way, other than that it was a delightful stay.

Lovely stay with my wife and infant. Simple house on the coast with a view that is well worth the price. Saw and heard seals from the house. Hot tub was ready for us on arrival. House was clean and everything functioned. Wall heater in bedroom and living area kept the house warm as well as the wood burning fireplace. Our 9 month old was warm and happy and so were we. If you're looking for an extra fancy house with bells and whistles, just look at the view and then look at it again while sitting in the hot tub and ask yourself, do I really need bells and whistles when I have this view? Could the house use some upgrades, sure. But it was more than enough for us and we will be back.

This is a comfortable place for a couple. Amenities are close at Gualala. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the waves in the cove below. Our only issue was that when we arrived, the code that unlocks the door didn't work. It was easily remedied by calling VRBO who gave us a new code.

My spouse and I have been looking for a one room house to rent for her birthday and Valentine celebration. Cove house was just what we both wanted. Small with one bedroom, kitchen, living room, dining room, and a hot tub. The view from the backyard to the shore was amazing. Everything goes accordingly to plan and we both needed a small quiet place to spend over the weekend. Overall it's a great cozy little house with a fire place, the woods were provided by the owner. We will definitely recommended and come back again. Now to the small things that needs to be address. The main bedroom's blind needs to be replace, it was broken and won't shut all the way. The pillows and blankets needs to be upgraded. The blanket were thin and it gets cold at night during the winter season. Luckily we brought our own blanket. There are heaters but it takes a long time to heat up the room. The fireplace was great but with a small cigarette lighter, it's hard to start up the fire. Luckily I learn a few skills to start a fire with little to no tools. The grilled wasn't clean properly, it was only scrap down from the top and slide back. The dish soap needs an upgrade to Dawn, Palmolive just won't do the job. It's the little things that needs to be address. Overall, everything was great!

I was recuperating from an injury and this was the ideal location. We found it exactly as described other than it's in Gualala, not Sea Ranch. The hot tub with the ocean view was great and everything we needed was provided or available a short drive away.

When we arrived we found that the blinds in the bedroom were broken open and that made us on comfortable. By the rough nail holes in the wall we were able to jimmy a curtain out of the only other sheet we had because we felt it was unsafe. It was very cold there and we were not provided with blankets and the bed has a thin questionably clean sheet, dusty and scratchy comforter and 2 very sad pillows. The bed room has low ceilings, side tables with unfinished plywood sharp edges, and folding chair in the cornered. The aesthetic that matched a child bedroom. Over all hours was dusty and our allergies weren’t happy. We tried to contact the host about the low flow toilet that was clogged when we arrived but did not hear back from our host at any point in our trip. We also contacted them about finding the lights to the hot tub and not hear back either. The property is located right off Highway on which is convenient but ultimately very loud and the little house shook when the garbage was picked up early (also not mentioned by host). At night it’s pitch black and the host conveniently left us two broken flash lights on the counter to help us out. The hot tub was grimy and had a layer of skin on the rim of the tub and needed to filled when we arrived. The view from the hot tub is great though. Our last day the power went out and we were isolated without service or a way of getting directions, also did not hear from host or find directions on how to use the fire place. Kitchen had no salt, oil or seasonings, dishes were rough hardly clean and the sponge left your hand smelling of mildew which was gross. In the bathroom they provided us with dove body soap which was convenient. The bath mat was disgusting and had seen better days and was immediately put in the. Also the dryer did not work. The view from the back of the property is incredible but the property is poorly managed and dirty. Unfortunately I can’t recommend this property and am still waiting to hear back
