About this house rental

Holiday on the Semois, literally because the Semois is on the garden.
The house has a capacity of 15 people and has a large finished garden, a large open barn with barrel sauna for 6 people and a 5 person jacuzzi. There is a billiards table, table football game, darts game and an arcade computer. The kitchen is equipped with all modern appliances. There are a total of 7 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The living room is very cozy and of course equipped with television. Nice in the colder periods is the stove in the living room and the kitchen. Everything is brand new from May June 2019. In the region there is always something to do, of course kayaking, swimming and fishing from the garden, but many guests come to walk or cycle, eat well. In the summer we rent 7 nights per full week . Minimum stay 2 nights maximum stay 7 nights

We spend a midweek (6 kids 17--21 and 2 adults 50) in this house in Vresse sur Semois and had a good time. We can recommend the "laddertjeswandeling" in Rochehaut; a day out to Luxembourg city and liked playing pool, darts, tabletennis and bordgames in the house. we also relaxed in the hot-tub and sauna in the garden. It's a nice house and a friendly owner. What needs to be improved is the cleaning and overall hygiene of the house. That's really below average and a disappoint-ment upon arrival.

We had a fantastic time in Vresse. The house suited us perfectly, as we were with a mix of teenagers and younger kids. The teenagers insisted on my saying in this review how much they loved the games room. It was an absolute hit with them. All kids loved the easy and safe access to the river at the back and spending time there together. It was a shame the river was too low for kayaking but it really didn’t stop them from having fun in the river. The house was very well equipped. There’s ample cutlery and crockery; I’ve often found in rentals that the kitchen supplies are a bit below par but that wasn’t the case here. There are plenty of pots and pans of good quality and sizes, and everything for cooking for a big group. Seating for dinner both in the house and outside was ample, again making things nice for a larger group and with kids. The hot tub and sauna were very welcome after our bike rides. Beds were comfortable and apart from one of the smaller bedrooms, all had sufficient cupboard space in the rooms. The owner Joris was very responsive to our queries and arrival was easy. Take time to read the instructions and after that it’s all very easy to settle in and relax. Vresse itself was charming. Probably quieter than usual due to the current circumstances (two bars seemed permanently shut now) but the pizza place is very good and great for a night when you don’t fancy cooking. The walk next to the river is an easy one to do, even with smaller kids. All in all a great place for families, especially with pre-teens and teenagers.

Heerlijk weekend gehad met familie. Huis biedt genoeg mogelijkheden om het ook bij regen naar je zin te hebben, zoals een pooltafel, tafeltennistafel, dartbord, jacuzzi, sauna en volop plek voor bordspellen met grote groepen. En bij mooi weer kun je meteen vanaf het huis al leuk wandelen, zwemmen in de rivier, kayaken of wat drinken bij een cafe in het dorp. Kortom, een aanrader!

Alles was dik in orde. Prachtig huis, we hebben gebruik gemaakt van de kayakken-verhuur, achter het huis. Heerlijk genoten van de BBQ en de speelruimte in het huis. Aanbevolen voor gezinnen/famielies. Contact met Joris was erg goed. Snelle reactie en alles werd keurig en adequaat opgelost.

Toplocatie, groot huis, alles dik in orde. Mooie tuin, grote kamers, zonnig terras en zeker niet te vergeten zijn de sauna, jacuzzi en de pooltafel die zorgen voor dat extraatje. Alle materialen zijn van goede kwaliteit. Op wandelafstand kan je fietsen huren, ook electrische MBT's, of kayaks. De eigenaar van dit huis is de vriendelijkheid zelve en enorm behulpzaam. Heel goed onthaal & afsluiter met hem gehad. Wij komen zeker nog terug, is een absolute aanrader!

Verhuurder was zeer bereid om samen met ons te zoeken naar een win-win ivm nieuwe Corona maatregelen. Zeer goede communicatie, was altijd bereikbaar bij vragen. Nieuwe deel van huis in zeer goede staat. Wij komen eens terug na Corona mét onze mannen. Bedankt!

Fijn, ruim huis waar geparkeerd kan worden op het terrein,gelegen aan de rivier waarlangs men fijn kan wandelen. Leuke speelkamer en relax whirlpool en sauna.

We hebben een zeer aangenaam weekend in dit huis in een hele mooie omgeving doorgebracht. Het huis heeft een grote tuin met achterom naar het riviertje maar ook als het weer minder is, is er in het huis zelf ook voldoende recreatie ruimte voor een grote groep. Ideaal tijdens coronatijd. Het huis was schoon, de keuken goed voorzien van alle gemakken en de communicatie met de huiseigenaar verliep zeer soepel. Kortom zeer aan te raden en we komen waarschijnlijk nog wel een keertje terug.
