About this house rental

La Boulangerie is a former bakery ... transformed into a comfortable cottage high capacity that can accommodate 24 people in excellent conditions.

The 6 rooms offer various possibilities for couples (two bedrooms with double beds), families with children (2 double bedrooms and 2 singles) or groups of children or friends (2 small dormitories of 6 people).

2 lounges, one around a wood fire to 360 ° and the other around a big-screen TV, each offering 12 seats.

The kitchen is equipped for 24 people, both benches, crockery, cutlery, glasses, pots or other equipment. The household appliances consists of a semi-professional cooker SMEG, an extra large fridge Bosch, a semi-professional Miele dishwasher, a microwave and a coffee percolator.

For barbecues, a Weber barbecue is available to tenants as well as garden furniture for 24 people.

All the furniture was replaced in 2014 by the IKEA furniture (beds, mattresses, duvets, wardrobes, tables, lounges, ...) and improvements continue regularly to be made.

Children and our pets are safe in the enclosed garden at the rear of the building.

Always at the back of the building, a covered shelter and closed with a padlock can accommodate bicycles. Cars can easily be parked in the front.

The house is located in the village of Sugny, 50 meters from a grocery store that will help you out when needed.

For more substantial shopping or day trips, Bouillon, Sedan and Charleville-Mezieres are within 15 to 30 km.

For lovers of nature, hiking, bicycle, motorcycle VTTou yet, Sugny is a great place: the Ardennes is still authentic!

We were here for a (to short) weekend.. the stay was wonderfull, we love to be in the Ardennes and this house is just textbook that. Inside and out were great. Only the garden was a bit smaller than expected but still it was what you need. We went on a trip to Buhan, only 10 minutes away, where you can make the most beautiful walks. Communication was great.. we even disturbed Yves in a meeting but he didn't mind 😂 Would love to com back sometime!

My group of friends and I stayed at Yves' place for about a week, and we had a wonderful time! The accommodation itself was very tidy when we arrived, and the easy check-in process made for a smooth start of our holiday. Additionally, the house was incredibly spacious, and we had plenty of room and amenities to enjoy our days we had to spend inside due to unfortunate weather conditions. On days we did manage to catch some sun we explored the surrounding area, which is beautiful. The close proximity of nature made the atmosphere of the place feel very peaceful, and we went for walks through the forest very often as they were right on our doorstep. Furthermore, communicating with Yves was a pleasure; he accommodated us wonderfully, and we couldn't have asked for a better host ;) Thanks again!

With my extended family of almost 20 people (including many children) we recently spent 7 days in this beautiful country house in Sugny. Unlike the photographs, we found the house very spacious inside and on the grounds. We adults and the children felt very comfortable in the house these days. We could easily prepare food there, eat the food inside or on the premises. The children could stay everywhere well and safely and we adults could grill, have a nice chat or play table tennis. In the village itself and in the surrounding area we were able to do a lot and spent a varied time. As a homeowner, Yves was always available to us as a very nice, obliging and helpful partner when dealing with the house or for leisure activities. We plan to spend our holidays there again next year. Therefore I can only recommend the country house to you warmly. Greetings, T.

We spent three days at this great house in belgium with our Team. We were around twenty people and had so much room. We had access to a small garden, a veranda, a big Kirchen (with all stuff we needed to prepare breakfast and dinner for all the people), several sleeping rooms (with bunk beds, beds for two and Single beds). The village was really tolerant although we celebrated until early in the morning and the area is rural and very beautiful. We would love to come again and really appreciate the communication before and after the trip that the host was available during our stay. Thank you.

Gîte La boulangerie was perfect for our group of 15 people. We really enjoyed the spacious living room with comfortable seats (enough for everyone) and 360° fireplace. All is there for cooking: large pots, big cooking fire, large refrigerator. The surroundings are superb for long walks in the forest. The host is very correct and responds quickly to all questions. We also liked that we could bring our dogs. Tip: the "boulangerie" is sadly closed ;-) but you can order fresh bread and croissants in the local shop around the corner.

We had a great stay in the ideal house for big groups. There was plenty of room so that the whole group could always sit together. The owner was always available over phone if there was anything we needed help with. Beautiful region if you like hiking. We would definitely recommend this house if you are looking for a good group accomodation!

"We stayed at Yves lovely cottage for 1 week in August 2014. From our first contact with Yves he was very helpful and friendly. We received quick responses to our questions and he was always willing to help. W e arrived very late but everything was ready for our arrival. The place itself was tremendous. Lots of space, plenty of room, nice comfortable beds and large sitting rooms and very well equipped kitchen. Everything was fine. Comfortable and clean. Even a great ping pong table which our young people enjoyed. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms and very comfortable. We had a tremendous stay and would recommend Yves and his place to anyone. Nice quiet village with a very hospitable shop and close to lots of visitors centres. Everything was great."
