Montebelo Lisbon Downtown Apartments

Very well located on flat part of Baixa, close to transport and restaurants. A beautiful view towards Church of São Nicolas.

An unpleasant smell in foyer of property that sometimes drifted up the stairs. Need better instructions for integrated washer/dryer. We downloaded the user manual and still couldn’t get it to dry only. The wash/dry program didn’t dry it enough and there was no way of selecting “dry”.

Location. Very high ceiling apartment, flat part of Lisbon. Historic centre in front of beautiful church. Easy to reach from main Lisbon train station via metro one stop, and 200 metre walk on flat surface with zero car traffic. The suitcases took themselves almost! Very clean apartment. Shower great. Bed great. I cannot fault this apartment. The staff attended to all needs including a late 1pm checkout. Would stay here again.

Occasional smell as your enter the ground level of the building; assume this has to do with it being an old building. It did not interfere with our exprience.

The apartments are in a brilliant location - near lots of shops, restaurants and bars. The apartment was clean and had all of the facilities we would need. As we arrived late they provided instructions for self check-in and it was an easy process.

The apartments are right next to a church, which rings a bell at 8am everyday. This did wake us up every day, however it was not a big problem.

The apartments are located on one of the central streets in Baixa. Anything central is accessible in no time. Our apartment had everything we needed and was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff is amasing. A lot of help and attention. Thank you, Iness and Bruno. It might be worth mentioning that the apartment is stylish, has good quality crockery and appliances, also decorated with ceramic pieces of Bordallo Pinheiro. Anyway, we loved our stay a lot. And the sounds of the bell in the church opposite made a nice beginning of the day.
