The dorm beds had a well-thought design (individual sockets and lights, with lockers) and had a en-suite bath and toilet. Only three beds were occupied (out of six) in my room, so that added to the comfort. The shared kitchen was a bonus, where one could whip up a simple meal, if you do not feel like ordering from the in-house restaurant. The gem of the hotel is the staff which were very pro-active in offering their service, and advice when asked. A special mention goes to Jourdain!

It was during the "canicule" when I was there, so it was understandably hot in the room as there was no air-conditioning or fan, so I spent a lot of time in the lounge cum restaurant area.

Good value for money. If you want to visit Clermant Ferrand this is a convenient place to stay just next to the station

The staff at the reception was very helpful, friendly and kind. I struggled with my French and she immediately suggested English and helped me. Unfortunately I don’t know her name, she was working on the night of 08/01/2026 shift. The room was clean and warm during a very cold night. Shower was amazing, good pressure and warm.

The access to the hotel on my arrival, very confusing, but luckily the young lady working at the reception helped me to get in. I guess this issue is due of road changes all over Clermont Ferrand including this road to access the hotel Trains

Looked like a prison. No ventilation. Poor pillows. Bedroom small like a prison cell or beach hut
