Comfortable condo. Parking was close by and covered. Loved the many trails to walk and restaurants in the area. Quite a few steps down to the beach, but very worth it. You could also walk to city park for access.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is nicely situated in the Solana Beach area near restaurants and shopping but the unit is dated. The Tennis Club provided amenities but the hot tub was in need of cleaning and at least one of the tennis courts should be converted to pickleball courts.

We loved this condo - awesome location. Plenty of places to walk to for food, sunrises, or nature. Nice to have two parking spaces so you don’t have to worry about parking. Property mgr was on top of it when we had a minor issue. Kitchen fully equipped, and two full bathrooms. We recommend, and we would definitely book again! 🙌

The view alone, was worth every penny! We saw so many dolphins it was ridiculous, in the best possible way! The condo was exceptionally clean/comfortable and spacious! There was nothing missing, amenity-wise, that we could find. The Stubbs staff were wonderful to work with, we could not have asked for a better experience!! We highly recommend this property and the Stubbs group. Thank you to all and Happy New Year!!

Despite what looks to be new flooring, this unit is in desperate need of critical updates. The fridge was old and leaked when you turned the ice maker on.(so we didn't have an ice maker for the stay). The washer and dryer are ancient, easily 20-30 years old. We just couldn't get anything clean in them and had to ask the property manager for an alternative unit nearby to do laundry. Positives--the view is special and the access to the one of the best beaches in the world is worth the price of admission. The unit is nice sized and is a part of a very desirable complex in Solana Beach--walking distance to almost everything worthwhile in the area.

What a great place! We stayed for a week using it as a base for exploring San Diego, Tijuana, Temecula, La Jolla, and Carlsbad. Great living room space, excellent Wi-Fi, the kitchen is easy to cook in, and the king-size bed was amazingly comfortable. You just can't beat the view, and the sunsets were phenomenal. We loved watching the surfers and the pelicans. The steps down to the beach are manageable and you can go for quite a beautiful walk along the cliffs. The complex is secure and charming, and parking is just steps away. We feel very fortunate to have been able to stay here. A word of caution - if you need things to be fancy-pants perfect, go stay at the Hotel Del Coronado. There is a small bit of wear and tear in a few spots - for example the constant access to salt water means things tend to rust, the dishwasher works best if you rinse the dishes first - but these are very minor issues compared to all this condo has to offer. We recommend it without reservation!

Location is amazing. The view was spectacular! The listing was right on in the description! Great coffee and restaurants within walking distance. Be aware there are 127 steps down to beach! Once there, the beach is beautiful , the sunsets are amazing. You do need to bring some household supplies like, TP (you get a small supply at check in and we stayed 12 days), paper towels, and garbage bags (there were three upon arrival). The two covered parking spaces were great and right near the apartment! The quiet nature of the complex was relaxing. The patio was great for ocean views all day! If there was an upgrade done, we would recommend upgrading the beds. They are very firm. It was very clean and stocked with cooking pans, cups, etc. Great place to cook for Thanksgiving dinner. You just cannot beat the view, if you love the ocean. Great location for relaxation. Great place for a family of four to stay, plenty of room. Outstanding place to stay!

There were only a few downsides for me.
The master bed was way too firm. That’s a matter of choice.
The second bedroom was hot. Only way to cool it down was to leave master windows open at let the fresh air flow through. We made the best of it.
Electrical needs to be updated. Few outlets available.
My only other issue was a text I received stating unit was available an extra day at discounted rate. When I asked for late checkout, the best that could be done was for 2 hours at $50. If the u it was not rented out, didn’t understand why it was so costly to stay an extra 4 hours.

This property has an ocean view with access to the beach via a gate in a secure condominium. So peaceful to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. It is within walking distance to a small downtown area and some trails. Easy drive to San Diego or north to Oceanside. We would stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very nice week in the unit in Mid-October. Unit location is perfect, and it is exactly as described on the site. Checking in and out was very easy and fast. Kitchen is fully equipped, and you have anything you may need to cook a large meal or a quick snack. Does have some basic supplies to start.
It was clean and ready, and we had no issues with that part of the rental. Please note that it is an older complex and its age can be noticed in the appliances and bathroom fixtures, but everything worked fine.
Really appreciated STUBBS response to a plumbing problem we had in the kitchen – it was resolved very quickly and to our complete satisfaction.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very disappointed with our stay at this condo. The owner obviously hasn’t put any money into this place at all. It is old, stinky, dirty, rusty and just not kept up. We rented it for 30 days, and did try to get out of the rental after the first day because it was so disgusting. However, the management company, Stubbs, would not let us out of the agreement or even put us in another place. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

What a great property! Fell asleep every night to the crashing of the waves from the master bedroom. The beach felt private and exclusive. In addition, great restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. Will stay there again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Reasonably priced. When booked thought it was a bargain for beachfront but when we saw the state of disrepair we thought it appropriately priced. Reasons: Ants, slow sink drain in master bath and had to hold toilet handle down. In guest bath the toilet paper holder is hanging out of the wall and the toilet handle sticks in the down position and runs unless pulled up. No battery in the den fan remote so it did not work until we bought a replacement battery. The back door does not lock due to salt air corrosion. Slats on the vertical blinds in the guest bedroom are broken and there is no privacy. Some slats have been reversed and punched. That bedroom is very hot even with fans.
