The villa was immaculate. Lampros the host was incredibly hospitable and truly went above and beyond. The view from the terrace was unmatched. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and plentiful. I cannot say enough about how incredible our experience staying at Avista was.

Everything was fantastic from the moment we arrived. Mr. Lampros helped take care of everything, and even upgraded our room and gave us fantastic meal and sightseeing recommendations. He even placed a reservation for us at Metaxi Mas. The suite itself had two floors and was quite comfortable. The jacuzzi with a view was outside via stairs that took us to the top of our building, and we got stunning sunset views from here. The cleaning lady was very polite and prompt and did a great job. And the highlight was probably the breakfast, which was fantastic and honestly kept us filled until dinner time. I would wholeheartedly recommend Avista Suites to anyone seeking a relaxed and wonderful time.
As a side note, we rented a car, and there is public parking nearby that Mr. Lampros helped us find. Sometimes it would be filled when we arrived, so we would have to park in another area slightly farther away. We would recommend this option if you are a good driver, since it afforded us a lot of flexibility, although driving in Santorini can be a bit of a challenge due to some steep areas.

The property was in a fabulous location and we were amazingly well looked after by Lampros who was an incredible host. The roof terrace had an amazing view across the Caldera, so we were treated to some amazing sunsets, which we could enjoy from the hot tub. Breakfast was chosen the day before from a comprehensive list, and was delivered and set up by Lampros either inside or out depending on the weather and our preferences. The food was really excellent. We were always helped with aspects of our stay and Lampros did all he could to ensure we had the very best holiday. The room was really comfortable and private, and served our needs perfectly.

Avista suites are perfectly located on the island. Centrally located in Imerovigli with spectacular views overlooking the caldera. Avista Suites are located at the top of the rim, so there are no long steps in and out like other accommodations.
Many fabulous restaurants nearby and a short walk to the bus stop for buses to Fira and beyond.
But the best part is the wonderful host. He will greet you, guide you, and be your concierge. No friendlier and helpful person alive.
The breakfasts are also stunning. I cannot imagine there is a better place to stay on Thira.
There was nothing to report on the negative. Just a wonderful place.
