With the provided amenities passes, guests will have access to all three rec centers in Sea Ranch featuring amenities like pools and tennis courts. Just a little over a mile away, schedule a tee time at the Sea Ranch Golf Links for sunny days on the greens, or spend the afternoon in Gualala where you will discover art galleries and great local eateries like Trinks Cafe & Bakery and the Crab Shack, only two-and-a-half miles north. The location of the house and water view is excellent. I'd recommend 3 things for home improvements for future guests. There was only one outdoor chair on the back deck. This was quite disappointing to us. Neither fireplace worked and it feels that this is something that could be fixed. Last, many of the windows were missing screens, or they were broken. The house is dated too but clean, and space was good.

The house is situated with direct and easy access to miles of bluff trails and a stunning ocean view. Spending mornings and evenings on the deck watching the bald eagle, cormorants, pelicans, and other wild animals was such a pleasure. While we hope this is fixed before other guests, we do recommend bringing your own camping chairs as the outdoor chairs were all broken. Everything was clean and in good shape. The wood floors were perfect for having dogs, in terms of cleaning up any accidents (but if your dogs struggle with wood, consider bringing your own floor covers). While unrelated to the house itself, the fact that I could walk my dogs and visit seals every day was really special! I wouldnt recommend for larger groups, only because there really aren't extra spaces for people to go off by themselves. But for my parents, myself, my daughter, and 2 dogs, it worked well.

The views are spectacular, but the windows were quite dirty and actually hard to see out. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. We would have appreciated some deck furniture and a little more basic upkeep, but loved walking right out to the trail. It wasn't a hardship to stay here at all but will probably consider a different house next time.

Front windows were dirty so view of ocean was fuzzy at best. Sliding glass door to deck was broken so had no access to deck. Fireplaces was out of order as well.

We had a wonderful stay. Bed’s were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, and the view was amazing! My only disappoints were the hot tub was dirty, not warm, and no one ever called or came to try to look at it even after putting a request/call in the first day we were there. The hard wood floors are pretty slippery, especially by the sliding glass door, and the sliding glass door handle is rusted and needs to be replaced, as well as the deck furniture.

I was unhappy that the upstairs fireplace did not work! We were looking forward to the ambiance a fire creates. The screen door upstairs falls off and the doors hard to open there and in the master bath. There are many pet stains on every carpeted room! Cob webs all around the fencing of the hot tub, I killed 3 spiders and a centipede in the house. The windows needed cleaned outside. The electric water pot in the kitchen doesn’t work. Master bed sags. Great location, quiet.

Roomy home with amazing views from nearly every window. Very close to the bluff trail. You can hear the waves from the upstairs deck. The hot tub was clean and warm. Kitchen has everything you would need. Lots of pots and pans, very nice dishes/mugs/glasses. The beds in the bedrooms on the lower level were extremely comfortable and of course, the house is gorgeous. Our only complaint was that the couch was very soft and bottomed out and was not comfortable at all (please note: if you have back problems). Otherwise it is a beautiful, comfortable home in an amazing location. We would definitely return.

Beautiful home, incredible views, pet friendly (as long as your dogs can stay quiet. This place is soo serene and peaceful, barking dogs could easily ruin it for other guests at other homes. But if your dogs love a quiet and calming stay at the beach, this is your place! Clean, calm, well equipped! Will stay again in the future!

I’ve been staying in Sea Ranch for the last 30 years. This house exceeded our expectations. Great views and clean home. You will need to bring a BBQ if you plan on cooking outdoors.

The views from the home are fantastic. The house itself needs some TLC. Fire Place did not work. Doors are sticky. One of the burners doesn’t work. Overall the view is awesome and you can make do with the amenities.

House and location amazing the kitchen is fully stocked only recommendation would be the house needs some minor maintenance screen door to the upstairs deck doesn’t move and there’s holes in it. One of the shades in the master bedroom cannot be rolled up and one of the lights by the bed stand doesn’t work, lastly the temperature readings on the stove top have been rubbed off, so it was difficult to use the stove but the house and location are absolutely amazing. We had a wonderful time. I will definitely be back.

Great location, close to Gualala, Sea Ranch golf links, and of course the ocean!! Careful with the electric stove as the dials are worn off so you can't see the heat setting and can easily overcook or burn your meal. Also, the couch cushions are well past their prime so using the many throw pillows under your bum is helpful otherwise you will sink so low, you may never get up. These are minor items to note, the home overall is super duper and the property management folks are great, very clean when we arrived, plus a fully stocked kitchen.

My family and I enjoyed this house. There was plenty of space for the 4 of us and our small dog. The view was wonderful from inside (would be much better if the windows were cleaned) and also great from the small deck. The house is very clean and comfortable. There are some items to note. I presume that due to this being a pet friendly house, there were many stains on the carpeted areas in the bedrooms. Most of the house is not carpeted. There is not a gas grill (not one in listing either, for fairness) and the stove is from the Carter administration. Otherwise , the oven and kitchen served well for a cooking family. Neither of the fireplaces worked, which would have been a nice touch. This is a great location and a great view. I think with the amount we spend on these homes a little more upkeep and attention to detail would go a long way.

This home is in a great location, right by the bluff. You have views from the living room and the main bedroom. The home was spacious for our family, including a small dog. The kitchen is well stocked, but overall the place can use a little TLC. One feature that was important to us was using the deck seating area off the main living room. Unfortunately, the sliding door was broken and there was no access - we were not told in advanced. The bedroom fireplace - the only source of heating - was out of order and it got very cold. The dishwasher was not working; very inconvenient . The lights in the garage were all broken, this made it difficult to pack/unpack and come in at night. We communicated these issues directly with the local Vacasa office and via email but nobody came to fix them. Considering the maintenance fees and the price of the unit, we expected better service.

Amazing view, right on the cliff. Probably the nicest house I have rented in the last 25 years. Master bedroom was big & awesome as was the 2nd bedroom. The upstairs is the common area and has a great view - it even has a bar! The hot tub has an excellent view of the ocean as well. The only downside was that the house has two gas fireplaces and neither of them were working: we were not made award of this and frankly we should have been - having a fire is an important part of the aesthetic experience for my family so we found this unacceptable: they should have both been operational before our arrival. Other than that, great house.

It is heartbreaking to see how the owners of this house have let it fall apart. It is unethical that Vacasa rents it, knowing full well that it is falling apart. We were greeted each morning by mouse droppings on the kitchen table and on the dining room floor. There were ants crawling across the kitchen counter when we arrived, and in the basement bedroom. But that was just the start. The ancient oven door did not close, so it never adequately heated up. The range top was so old (at least 40 years), all of the knob indicators were worn off, so it was impossible to tell if you were cooking on high or low (electric stove, so you couldn't see flames). The refrigerator door did not close because the interior drawers were broken and blocked it. The clothes dryer did not work. Period. Despite the listing that claims a deck, a balcony, and a fenced in yard, there is no deck, no yard, and a locked door onto the balcony with a sign that says OUT OF ORDER. Because it was impossible to open the balcony door, there is no ventilation upstairs in the house (main living area). Very few windows open. It was 59-degrees and very sunny, and a stuffy 75-degrees in the house. I feel for anyone who stays there when it is 60-degrees and above outside. In short, this is a house with a great view, that should be taken off the rental market until it is operational. Every appliance needs to be replaced, the deck needs to be repaired so that you can breathe if you are indoors trying to take in the view, the lock needs to be fixed so that you don't have to worry every time you leave the house that your belongings will be stolen, and the mouse problem needs to be addressed.

we love the location and the views from this house. for us, the upside down layout worked pretty well. like many sea ranch rentals, it's worn down, which i sort of expected. but the sliding door to the porch is basically broken so i had to muscle it to open it up- and that's a core value of the house; would be nice if you could turn on the light in the backyard for the hot tub (might be user error). probably 3.5 stars in reality

Our family enjoyed the beautiful views of the ocean in this cozy and warm home. The seals were jumping in and out of the water having the time of their lives. The trails right outside the door were a breath of fresh air. We all enjoyed this home and getaway. Our only complaints are with the management not the home or location. For a vacation property manager they should actually be checking in on these homes and not just flipping a cleaning service between guests. They should leave parking passes, etc for guests in the home instead of driving miles up the road to pick them out of an unsecured pile in a random box outside their office door. They also sent someone to check on a door repair without giving us notice, which not only disturbed us, but was uncomfortable walking out to a random man in our rental while in a bikini from enjoying the hot tub. All things we can “deal” with but shouldn’t have to.

A totally comfortable home. You start to unwind the minute you walk inside. Oceanfront and sunsets are spectacular. Kitchen is fully stocked for cooking and awesome giant leather couch for lounging or staring at the cove. The wildlife is everywhere. Saw whales right in front of the house. Watched a fox hunt for his dinner and the pelicans fly by. The golf was amazing and if your up for it, the bluff trail to the lodge is 8.7 miles south. The BEST 10 days!!! Thank you VACASA
