- wonderful location at the entrance of the old town and 5-10 minutes of walk to the Sablettes beach - hidden space with toys above the kitchen - enough space and amenities in general for a short stay of 4 persons - comfortable beds - 1 parasol available for the beach - the host responds quickly and is helpful
- no wifi - the floor was not very clean when we arrived - payment options sounded a bit complicated/unsafe but in the end it worked out - no parking - bear in mind the stairs are quite steep / no elevator

One of the best value for money locations in Menton, it is situated right at one of the gates of the old town, a few minutes away from the beach. The street in front is quiet and you could hear the waves crashing and see part of the beach and port from the balcony. We liked it a lot as a base for wondering around Menton and other locations on the Cote d'Azur.
There is some climbing involved if you come back from the beach, even if you take the elevator and go through the narrow streets of Menton, but it wasn't a problem for us.
