Beautiful property, beautiful location, would absolutely stay here again.

Was a bit dusty in areas when we arrived but after communicating this the owner Rachel came the same day and cleaned the areas herself.

Beautiful property in tranquil location. Would love to stay again sometime!

Property was maintained to a high standard, lovely bright open space and excellent location (so peaceful and facing open countryside). Property had everything you could need for a family holiday. Host contacted us directly to check everything was okay which was very thoughtful.

Excellent modern facilities, great countryside location within walking distance of Budle Bay and some stunning scenery. Lodge has a distant view of the castle, and cattle and sheep in the nearby fields. Shop and pub within walking distance at the campsite up the road. Everything you would want for a stay in Northumberland.

We loved it, all 3 of us and especially the dog!

Perfect property with fantastic views!

Perfect location and beautiful layout. Fantastic lounge/dining and outdoor space for socialising. Rooms were perfect and bonus view of Bamburgh Castle! Would stay again and recommend.

A few suggestions: - we specified 6 adults were staying but received 4 adult and 2 kids towels - blinds for high triangle windows - decent chopping board to protect worktop - more coasters provided (only 2) - small mirror in ‘kids’ room for adults - extractor fans in both bathrooms not working

5pm check in and 10am check out was the only issue about our stay due to the travel and the price of our holiday. We had a baby who required to sleep early and therefore this interrupted their sleep pattern due to timings and meant one less day of spending as a family. Ideally a 2-3pm check in and a 12pm check out would have been perfect. Also I read on previous reviews and agree that the perfect stay it would benefit from a gate on the decking to put everyone’s mind at rest with young ones around. Our actual stay however was really good and the lodge is beautiful.

Spotlessly clean, great facilities, fully equipped kitchen. Perfect quiet getaway. Lovely view of the castle and near lots of lovely walks and the beach
