The carpet on the stairs was old and the lounge smelt like a young boys room with smelly cushions. The shower didn’t work and dripped all night and was either too hot or too cold. The roof in the bathroom leaked in the rain. The keylock was in a dark cupboard and not easy to find.

I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the house was, except for the dishwasher. The beds were very comfortable.

However, there’s no ventilation in the bathroom, and the shower is a real challenge since it’s hard to adjust the water temperature. The bathroom door and ceiling fans could also use improvement. Overall, it’s hard to give high score points.

Because is a very comfortable and clean place, have all the stuff you need, the bed line are very clean.

The downstairs areas had been recently refurbished and every convenience was at hand.

The bathroom had been recently re-furbished but the shower was, frankly, atrocious! The cubicle was tiny and broken, the flooring was not suitable, the shower itself was unusable as with far too hot and the temperature could not be adjusted. I discovered that it could be made bearable by turning the water temperature down on the boiler - having not received any response from the host The upstairs floors and doors creaked (more noticeable in the night and early morning when trying not to wake others. Upon returning to the house on the second night, the ground floor was overrun with ants - this continued throughout our stay. They also appeared on the worktops. Parking is very difficult, despite what the listing states. If you are not parked up by 4.00pm, be prepared for a long walk!
