The location is brilliant.

*The floor and the walls in the apartment were dirty. There was no inventory to check the contents of the apartment. The utensils in the kitchen are inadequate and do not meet the requirements of a self-catering apartment. *The enameling on the bath is peeling off as well as the enameling on the tiles. The bath tap diverter does not function correctly. No bath plug. There were no shelves in the bathroom cabinet. We had the same bath towels for two weeks. * The bedroom is dark as there is only one source of light, which is one bedside lamp, and the window blinds will not open. We also had the same bed linen for the duration of our stay as no one came to clean the apartment. The same applies to the bath towels, which we could not wash. There is a small hole in the floor between the bedroom and the dressing room. * The socket cover in the dining area wall is broken. There are no table mats for the dining table * One of the feet is missing on the side table in the lounge area. The left-hand drawer is missing from the TV cabinet. The lounge window blinds do not close correctly. * A handle is missing on the aircon door cupboard * There is no light on the corridor outside the front door. * The parking bay allotted to the apartment (number 23) was not always available as it was being used by other tenants. We were alloted a different parking bay (number 24), but that was also frequently used by others. * Contractors from a building site across the road used the complex 's carpark and made a terrific noise between 6 - 6:30 am Even though we paid US$99 cleaning fees, no one came to clean the apartment. When I queried this, I was told they only clean the apartment before and after the duration of a holidaymakers stay. Unfortunately, no cleaning materials are available for anyone staying there except for one brush.

Did not stay in the apartment due to bed bugs under sofa bed and sofa bed had broken arms and was dirty and discolored.

The location of the property id ideal, however besides that, everything went downhill.

We reached out to maintenance regarding the sight and fear of having bed bugs after checking under the sofa beds. There were bed bugs droppings piled up in the corners of the sofa. We took pictures and asked for immediate evacuation but they did not provide cleaning support until the next day. We definitely did not sleep in the apartment and bought a room somewhere else for the meantime until they find us a better replacement. The next day, they said that they brought in a cleaning team and said they were not bed bugs because they cant see bugs. I think they are unprofessional and inexperienced with this because bed bugs only come out at night and the droppings are proof of their presence also exterminating bedbugs requires a treatment of 6 months and not as simple as they thought. In the end, they never gave us our money back, $1500 went like that, we never stayed in that apartment and they did not help us out besides telling us they will bring in a cleaning team, which obviously is not a valid solution for this. Besides the bed bugs, sofabed’s arms were broken and dirty. All necessary pictures were taken.

I’m at a loss for words

Location

Reported that a few of the blinds were missing from the bedroom window and it was a privacy issue, no one ever came, the refrigerator was leaking and I called to report it and notified to them that I had put a towel down instead of coming out to check it like I asked, they brought more towels the next day to put down and left them outside the door, the biggest issue I had I dropped my car keys, called several times to see if they were turned in I was told no keys were ever turned in, only to find out the day before us leaving and $1300 spent on a rental car and having someone come to the property to make a key to our vehicle did the guy from maintenance tell us that he has had the key the whole time when I called I stated that the key was to a Volvo, the key fob also says Volvo keep in mind we are in assigned spaces. The key was dropped near our car that alone should let him know to press the key fob to see if that key belong to that vehicle because the information to our cars are given to the property, I also gave the information once again when I called the property upon asking to speak to the owner I was told that there’s no way that guests can contact the owner that it wasn’t possible, even with all that for the maintenance guy to tell us after he see the guy making the key to the car in the parking lot that he has our key and he’ll get it and bring it to us later with a smile on his face, this guy has passed us several times and seen us go to our car several times because the door was unlocked but every time we open the door the alarm went off, I don’t like playing the race card, but I’m feeling some type of way, we were stressed out this whole stay, and will be checking into a hotel to at least get a few days of enjoyment, this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had!😢

You would want to pay more to stay in nice hotel on other side of the river. I do not recommend this place.

The host is nice on messaging. However there are too many messages which is annoying. They ask you to load my id and I have to do it 4 times. Booking should not have lasted it since this is not a hotel at all

It is not a hotel but RB&B. Location is very inconvenient since you need to walk to cross a long bridge to get to the actions. I was there in November when weather is ok. Imagine hot summer days, you need car to get to any where. And parking would be a big issue in downtown. Water taxi is 30 min apart so you will need luck to catch one. Property is dirty, old, moldy and rusty. Bare minimum stuff and feels dirty Bed sheet is polyester blanket which is very uncomfortable. Towels are old and thin. Dishes are old and not feel very sanitary Floors are sticky Hair in the shower and not cleaned Toilet cover is smaller than the bowl, so it is warbling Thin walls and you do hear everything around.

Love the location , and love the availability around everything. Ease of access to the apt and it was comfortable like your own home. Very enjoyable.

Little cosmetics like repairing and re-painting the walls and air conditioning vent and some blind fixtures. The closet door needs fixing. But like I said just minor cosmetics, nothing major . Everything worked great !

Safe, Comfortable, Location, Reasonably Priced!

1. Location, location location! The intercoastal ( by Las Olas), the beautiful yachts and surrounding areas were part of Fort Lauderdale's ambience. The intercostal view was next to the Designer Apts. 2. Easy, Easy access to US1 (East Federal Highway) to the beaches only 10 minutes away and 1-95. Local restaurants and even our gym ( Planet Fitness) were about 10 minutes away. 3. The apartments were big. I literally felt like I was living in a condo.

1. The property itself was an older building however, you cannot judge a book by its cover! The inside met our expectations over fancy. 2. No laundry room or what appeared to be a washer/dryer in the initial photos.

Location for Tortuga festival boat was good. Easy to get to the beach. Beds comfy and plenty of space.

Did not feel safe as solo women travellers. Blinds did not close. Kitchen not equipped with stuff to cook in the oven borrowed from our friend’s apartment. Says there is chairs or sun loungers there isn’t.

Do Not Stay Here

Bed was comfortable, good shower pressure

Company changes door codes every Friday, not at check in/ check out. This caused 2 problems. When I got back to the apartment Friday night I still hadn't been sent the new code so had to call for it. Secondly, the next morning I was due to check out at 11am. At 7am a complete stranger put the code in the door and entered the apartment telling me she got an early check in. Imagine my surprise! And horror as a solo female traveler. She quickly retreated when I told her I was there until 11am and I called the management company. All apologies of course. After many texts back and forth and me requesting a comp'd night for the total lack of security their response was to offer 2 free nights for a future visit. I absolutely would NEVER stay there again for obvious reasons. I am absolutely dumbfounded by their lack of understanding the gross negligence in handing out codes to more than one guest at a time. It's not OK on any level. As if that wasn't bad enough, when I was calling to get my new code on the Friday night a family was trying to check in into their apartment next to me and also didn't have their updated codes, so a flawed system to say the least. If you do book bring your own drapes because the useless verticals blinds don't close properly and the apartment backs onto a car pack so, yes you guessed it, full beam lights in my face at 2am. Delightful. Save yourselves and book elsewhere

I stayed 23 days. I talked someone in whatsapp. She was very helpful but not problem solver. We had bad wifi. Last days never worked. Pool was beautiful but not clean. I said but they didn’t clean it. There are a lot of Iguanas. It was very terrible.

Best Location. Everything you need. Fair price.

We stayed for 17 nights at the Designer River View Apartments with the whole family of four. We had an appartment with a good view of the river with boats passing by every view minutes. After our daytrips we jumped into the clean pool. The communication with our hosts was uncomplicated and always pleasant.

The kitchen could have been equipted a bit more generously. The mattress of the double bed was quite worn out.
