Snug Haven

This is my 2nd stay at the Strathyre Camping Pod. I liked it so much I came AGAIN and it was as great as the first time! The POD itself is perfect for a solo traveler, but I did bring my sister with me this time. It's cozy, well appointed, and in a great location for biking and hiking. I appreciated that there was milk for the tea in the fridge. Plenty of hot water. The bed is deliciously comfy. The best part was listening to the quiet rain hit the roof. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

I only wish there were more places to hang/put stuff in the bathroom. Otherwise it was lovely!

Peaceful Pod Stay in Strathyre

Our one-night stay at the Strathyre Camping Pod was wonderfully relaxing. We were very impressed by the impeccable cleanliness and the tranquil, quiet location, which offered a perfect escape. The check-in and out process was incredibly straightforward and uncomplicated, and the pod itself was well-equipped with everything we needed. Our only minor note, and purely a personal preference, was the somewhat narrow bed. Despite this, we thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful and well-appointed glamping experience.

Amazing little house for an adventure

We had an amazing stay at this very cute Glamping pod. I've stayed in this type of accommodation before. But I have to say this was the most equipped pod I've ever stayed in. Everything has been thought off from the bed made on arrival, towels, crockery, all the little touches tea coffee biscuits, toiletries to name a few. Perfect location for many activities, locals were very friendly ad was our host, with excellent communication, quick response to any questions and very accommodating. All in all great value for the money with what you receive. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Fran

Location....the 2 pods are sited at the bottom end of someones garden... outlook from the front of the pod is just a wall and some trees..all the best views are in the opposite direction!.. very disappointed..I know this area well...also Tiny shower

Great stay for a roadtrip

Lovely camping pod with almost everything you'd need on a roadtrip to Scotland. The pod was clean and very comfortable. The shower was a bit small but was still great. The TV had Netflix on it which is nice if you stay at the pod during a rainy day. The self check-in was very easy too.

A bit difficulty to find as it is somewhat hidden behind another guesthouse.

Brilliant location, fab accommodation and beautiful views

They were beautifully decorated with all the mod cons and a fabulous view. The bonus was that it’s right next to where you start the Rob Roy Way for the next day to Killin. We had forgotten to ask for bedding for the sofa beds and messaged quite late but she still came down and dropped it off. Would highly recommend we loved it so much we did a little hiker vogue catalogue pose to show our appreciation.

Lovely little place with fantastic character, adorable in every way and exceedingly comfortable given its size! Fantastic place with beautiful sights and better equipped than expectations! Lovely and quiet and quaint!

Lack of identifying signage means it was difficult to find and lack of internet reception compounded the problem, while wonderful and worth the effort, additional signage would be beneficial! This is all mentioned on booking however so isn’t a fault, but a nuisance!

Ideal Location for those who enjoy walking or open water swimming!

The location was excellent as we were using it as a base for open water swimming at Loch Lubnaig.

The pod had everything in it we needed and more. However, my husband is 6ft 10 so the bed (being slightly smaller than a regular double) and the shower were a bit tight for him but ideal for me. Pod was spotless and had everything we needed. Unfortunately we had to cut our trip to one night due to a family issue but this pod is ideal for those who enjoy hillwalking or open water swimming. Host was great, communication was excellent.

The scenery was beautiful, especially with all of the snow and the mist to add to the mountain and nearby lakes.

It was icy reaching the cabin, a higher rail would have helped. The shower was a bit tight too.
