Residenza La Ciorta

The host was welcoming and understanding. Everything was clean, we were provided with the essential items. The location is well connected meaning you can reach both the circumvesuviana or the main railway in less than 15 minutes if you are planning to do day trips to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Sorrento. Highly recommend this stay!

A small room with a big bed and a bathroom, just enough for two people. We had a great stay at La Ciorta - the place was clean upon arrival, there was a good AC (saved us in this heat), and the beds were comfortable. The location of the apartment was convenient as it's super close to the train station and it's easy to find. Though, I read some reviews that they had an "uncomfortable/unsafe feeling" around the station, but we didn't really experience that; it was quite alright, except the dirt on the streets, but that's everywhere in Napoli :). However, I'd mention that it's a bit further from the city centre, but if you like to walk, like us, the distance shouldn't be a problem; plus, you explore by walking anyway:) Regarding the apartment itself, it's in an old building, at an upper floor, and thankfully there's an elevator, so there weren't any problems. Also, the area was in general calm; despite the market each morning on the streets around the building, we didn't hear any noise whatsoever, which made our stay (and night sleep) pleasant. Furthermore, the host was extremely kind. He was responding fast, answered all our questions, and allowed a late check-in. He also shared with us a big list of food places to visit - from restaurants to authentic pizzerias, gelato salons, café's, and more. Very thankful for that and for the warm hospitality!

The only remarks I have are that in the description was said that there will be free toiletries (like shower gel or shampoo), but alas there weren't; and that the wifi was slow to gone in the farther corner of the room (next to the window).

It was close to train station and you can easily transit through the city with the metro which is the first stop from garibaldi train station and its only 7 min walking from the apartment. The host was nice and friendly and very helpfull. You have a supermarket next to the building. And the bulding is safe. The price is corect.

The outside, the street is very unclean and all the street dust come inside the room , but thats a comunity problem not problem with the stay.

The owner was brilliant, very patient with us as our plane arrived later than expected, and helped us whenever we needed anything. Very quiet area once you are in the building, close to train station and metro for travelling. AC and fridge are great additions

The WiFi did not reach all of our room, and I’d suggest getting a larger mirror for the room just so I could see my outfits properly! But overall great
